Top Performers from Day 2 of BCAT Team Camp

Once again, collegiate coaches flocked to the gyms in search of the next prospect to help elevate their program. Our Tennessee girls were primed and ready to showcase their skills while also helping their ball club improve. The matchups for this second day were amazing as well. Teams battled out there on the floor, and the energy given was tremendous.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Those who follow the game closely will see that there will be some changes this upcoming season. What I mean by that is that there have been girls who have graduated. Teams have gotten new players. Girls have gotten better and so forth. It's all a part of the game, but some of the process for next season is already starting to take shape. This club finished second last season, making it to the championship game. Well, here is the X factor that will help them contend. CR brings a dynamic skill set to the table. She is a solid two-way player who can score, facilitate, and contribute in all phases of the game. A kid who gets after it on each possession, CR helps CPA have a formidable 1-5. You can already see the maturation process take over as she brings a physical style of play along with relentless energy. She dominates the painted area on both ends of the floor. She has a solid post-up game that enables her to finish over either shoulder. Defensively, she owns the boards, blocks shots, and really brings an intimidating presence down low. Though some of her batterymates have graduated, don't think for a second this squad is going to flounder. Blessed with a unique skill set, this season, you are going to see more of Fields doing other things. Sure, she is going to kill it on the interior, but watch her bring a whole lot more to the table. Kimora has been getting it done on the hardwood for the past 3 years now. She has been a force, a staple, someone who teams have always had problems with. This season is going to be more of the same. MJ is a sharpshooter who can create, come off screens, and ultimately, her ball finds the bottom of the net. She competes at everything, places with great stamina and pace, which really makes it hard for people to handle. She has had a great travel ball season and summer thus far. Look for her to help this ball club not only take over Wilco but also contend in the tournament down the stretch. This young lady has been working on her game, and it is starting to show. Lane can stretch the floor and pull from deep; however, her ability to rebound and work inside has really stood out. This young lady will be the one who will excel at doing the dirty work for the Lady Mustangs. From doing things in the screen action, rebounding, etc, this kid will be the next young stallion to step up for this program.
