Millard South is loaded with a handful of individuals with pure skill in this game. Someone out of the 2026 Class that comes to mind is [player_tooltip player_id='581494' first='Hayden' last='Korus']. Korus is a constant worker as a Forward. Someone who doesn't take many days off and her constant progression over her high school career has shown that. Moving into this Spring AAU season, I wasn't sure if Korus was college material 100% but that opinion has changed. Over this Spring she has shown more and more promise on the hardwood so I could see her fitting into the right program at the next level. I'm not sure who that is with but we will see over these next 6-8 months.

Pius X is going to lose a bunch of production this upcoming Winter but someone who should step up for them is [player_tooltip player_id='502333' first='Hayden' last='Harnisch'] at the PF spot. Harnish is 6'0, she had quick movement from side-to-side, and she is becoming more versatile as she gets older it seems. Pius X has had some pretty solid pieces the past couple of years so Harnisch has somewhat been overshadowed. If that is going to change, it happens this upcoming Winter for her Senior season. She could be the one they run acton through on both sides, she just has to show how much of a beast she is early on in the season. From there, who knows where they could takes things.

McKenzie James is a PG with some really crafty and shifty moves off of two feet. James really wants to kill her opponents off the dribble going to the teeth of the defense for herself or for other open teammates around her. She does everything in general pretty well with the skill side of things, while having some better than average athletic ability. Defensively, she is hungry. She get into her opponents space and suffocates them slowly throughout. That helps her record a bunch of tips, steals, and deflections during her games. James is solid. She makes good choices and plays the right way, two things that could help her to the next level one day.

[player_tooltip player_id='896737' first='Sonya' last='Guzinski'] has been a dedicated player to this sport of Basketball for her entire life now and that dedication should carry her to the next level in some way. Guzinski, a 5'8 SG, has been a Varsity producer for years now with her O-C program. I expect that to stay a constant moving forward prior to her graduation come next May. She is going to be a main producer on both sides of the ball once again as a Senior, leading the ones beneath her as an Upperclassman leader. She has a quick trigger off the catch, she aint bad off the dribble, her body control and vision is better than average, she communicates really well, and she is always willing to mix it up physically with someone else for the sake of her teammates. This is someone who checks off a lot of boxes from an evaluation perspective. That's for sure.
