PGHNJ has just updated it's Class of 2027 rankings and with so much movement comes a NEW-LOOK TOP 10! The past three months of AAU basketball has seen some tremendous performances across the board. Let's dive in for a further look:

[player_tooltip player_id='651517' first='Aleah' last='Sunkins'] | NY Gauchos

Previous Rank: #1 | New Rank: #1

Dominating on the 3SSB circuit, Aleah has landed on everyone's radar the past few months. Her position at the top remains unchanged after spectacular showings at Adidas Session I & II and Jersey Live. The 6'0" wing/forward has racked up recent offers from Fairfield, UMass, Seton Hall and Mississippi State.

[player_tooltip player_id='667787' first='Jacqueline' last='Edelman']

Previous Rank: #2 | New Rank: #2

Jax has been a dangerous Swiss Army knife type of talent this season. Whether it's for Exodus on the EYBL circuit or Morris Catholic for the scholastic live period, her versatility has been loud and she's looked in total command. New threads, same type of domination! When she's on the court, she's typically one of, if not the best player. She's racked up recent offers from Stony Brook and Dartmouth, a collection that's sure to grow after July is all said and done.

[player_tooltip player_id='789189' first='Brooke' last='Stagliano'] | PA Comets

Previous Rank: #4 | New Rank: #3

Sometimes there aren't enough words to describe Brooke's sharpshooting prowess. One of the best 3-point shooters you'll find anywhere in AAU basketball, she knows a thing or two about lighting it up from deep and not cooling off! She's been one of my standouts at several events so far this year and has been dominating the GUAA circuit. An impressive combination of next-level court vision and precision shot-making has earned her offers from Dayton, UMass, La Salle and Army in the past two months alone!

[player_tooltip player_id='835906' first='El-Anita' last='Joe-Samuel'] | Jersey Gemz

Previous Rank: #3 | New Rank: #4

Whether attacking from the wing or shaking defenders off the bounce, El-Anita is nothing nice out there! A wicked skillset and do-it-all playing style has shown college coaches the type of two-way threat she will be at the next level. A big breakout this season down in Houston was the culmination of relentless hard work and assertive basketball. She recently picked up an offer from Towson and took a visit to Saint Joseph's.

[player_tooltip player_id='1048715' first='Lola' last='McGonigle'] | PA Comets

Previous Rank: #5 | New Rank: #5

If there's one thing Lola is going to do, it's show off an elite all-court game. She scores, dishes and plays defense at a high level, doing everything necessary to be a total asset and help her squad win games. That playing style was crucial in the Comets' run to the PRIME Event Chip and a phenomenal showing at both Philly & Jersey Live. She was named a standout at both high school live period events with coaches looking on from D1 programs all around the country. Lola's got the goods!!

[player_tooltip player_id='835821' first='Sarae' last='Croley-Battle'] | [program_tooltip program_id='714664' first='Team' last='Sharp']

Previous Rank: #6 | New Rank: #6

Sarae's motto is to outwork everybody... and this year, she's certainly done that. A highly competitive spirit and versatile skillset has taken her game to new heights at events like Spooky Nook (PA), The Classic (KY) and PRIME Event East (PA). Her scoring has been dynamic, playing tough in the paint but also stretching out to knock down middys and 3-point daggers. This has been the best I've ever seen SCB!

[player_tooltip player_id='816416' first='Emily' last='Mattson'] | [program_tooltip program_id='714664' first='Team' last='Sharp']

Previous Rank: #8 | New Rank: #7

The April and May live periods were very good to Emily. At both Spooky Nook and Atlantic City, she put her uptempo guard play on full display against historically premier programs such as MCW Stars, XGEN Elite and West Virginia Thunder. Something that instantly jumped out at me was a consistent 3-level scoring attack. She hasn't needed many dribbles to get off a high quality shot from just about anywhere on the floor. Sharp shooting and event sharper vision to get her teammates involved. Everybody eats when Emily is in control!

[player_tooltip player_id='789186' first='Zoe' last='Wasserlauf'] | Jersey Gemz

Previous Rank: #9 | New Rank: #8

Zoe may be on a lot of scouts' radars as a new name this year, but she's been on mine for quite some time and I've seen nothing but huge improvements as the months have passed. She has dazzled at both Nike stops, played headstrong basketball at the Jam Fest and turned up the heat at Jersey Live. Back in May, she wowed the competition at The Program NYC on her way to picking up MVP honors. One of the craftiest guards in this Class!

[player_tooltip player_id='835485' first='Addison' last='Keenan'] | Jersey Gemz

Previous Rank: #13 | New Rank: #9

Addison jumps four spots into the Top 10 as she continues to put together a memorable season of AAU hoops. She plays with a pass-first mentality that has seen her dish out some truly impressive dimes; arguably the sharpest court vision of anybody in this '27 Class. When Addy is running point, good things happen! She's been EXCEPTIONAL, period. At Jersey Live, she was one of the best players I got eyes on the entire weekend, in a truly stacked field.

[player_tooltip player_id='651518' first='Lauryn' last='Downing'] | [program_tooltip program_id='714664' first='Team' last='Sharp']

Previous Rank: #14 | New Rank: #10

You'll be hard-pressed to find a shiftier player in the Class of 2027! The savvy point guard has put together a stellar summer with [program_tooltip program_id='714664' first='Team' last='Sharp'], ascending four spots in the rankings and snatching ankles along the way. I witnessed her tenacious two-way game first-hand at Spooky Nook, Atlantic City & Jersey Live, where she was a standout in almost every game. Against top tier AAU teams such as Bay State Jags, SLAAM and West Virginia Thunder, she was fearless sinking perimeter jumpers at a high clip and applying stiff on-ball defense to force a flurry of turnovers. She holds D1 offers from UMass and Siena, among others kept private.
