I'm expecting more big games out of [player_tooltip player_id='758994' first='Abbi' last='Durow'] from Millard South this Winter with the type of Junior season she put together just a few months ago. Durow is a gamer. A competitor. Someone who wants to play her best, at all times, no matter the situation. She is one of the first individuals to step up and lead. That's going to take her places. Not just in basketball, but in life. Durow is coming off of a nice AAU season with her [program_tooltip program_id='712709' first='Nebraska' last='Attack'] Select 17U team and I know she is going to be hungry to finish things out with a bang. Something I can't wait to see first-hand.

[player_tooltip player_id='839335' first='Maiah' last='Murphy'] was someone who came onto our radar a few months ago with her [program_tooltip program_id='712595' first='Kingdom' last='Hoops'] program. Murphy is an explosive guard with a lot of energy. She would be considered someone that is always willing to play aggressively but in-control. She is calculated and tactful, which helps her make everyone else around her better. She can handle and control pace, two things that really stand out. I am hoping that Murphy puts together a big Senior season at GVC. If she plays her game, she will be someone we hear more about as we move in 2026.

Lewis Central is going to look for a source of new production this Winter at the Varsity level and someone who can give it to them is Mackenzie Vetter. Vetter is someone who lets it fly from deep at a respectable rate. It seems that she prefers to take shots off the catch but she is also sound enough to play off the bounce. Defensively, Vetter is scrappy. She is always one of the first on the floor and that was the case all Spring/Summer AAU season this past six months.

[player_tooltip player_id='890842' first='Bailee' last='Durant'] has a smooth shooting stroke and she can be an impact player on both sides of the basketball when she brings the fire. Durant, a 5'10 SG/SF, is categorized as both of these because of her versatile ability. She can step up as the 2 and be a main bucket getter, she get look to be the 3 and play more as a CG, or she can move all the way to the 4 and defend up with someone who might have some size on her. It all depends on the situation. Durant is coming off of a good season with her [program_tooltip program_id='715717' first='Nebraska' last='Supreme'] 17U team. If she stays on this pace, she should have some more interest from the college level over these next few months.

[player_tooltip player_id='669067' first='Keke' last='Walker'] stacked in a collegiate offense this AAU season because of her proven play. Walker competes as a SG. She would be defined as someone that isn't going to kill you with flashy moves. Instead, she will use fundamentals and smarts to beat whoever is in her way. Walker has quick first step and some sneaky athletic ability. She is a produce in both the half and full courts throughout an entire contest, always staying on the move. Roosevelt has some talented guard play at the 1, 2, and 3 position. If they play their cards right, they could make some waves this season.
