Kelly hit the target often for Rochester at the Northwood Team Camp. She caught passes in rhythm and releases shots with a high follow-through. Kelly drained multiple triples from the corners and the wing, plus a long jumper. She created space from defenders using a double-spin dribble move and finished bunnies off two feet. Kelly secured defensive rebounds and pushed the ball up the court confidently with both hands. She has length and offensive firepower that will be exciting to watch this winter.

Maddy started Northwood Team Camp strong for the Tigers. She maintains her balance when attacking off screens, knowing when to drive, shoot, or pass. Maddy used a screen on the wing and buried her pull-up jumper. She added two more dribble pull-ups from the corner and the elbow. Maddy drove hard to the basket, landed in a jump stop, then finished the contested floater off two feet. She pressured the ball to create steals on defense, raced up the court to score a transition layup, and drove by for a floater in the paint off two feet. Maddy is going to have a breakout season for Fenton and if you've been watching her play during the travel season, that statement comes as no surprise.

Big time players step up in big moments. I had the opportunity to see Baylor get the job done in the Regional Finals last year (game winner), and she did it again for Goodrich at Northwood Team Camp. The OT tourney challenges the poise of each team in a three-minute winner moves on scenario. Goodrich handled the pressure and enjoyed the spoils of victory--championship t-shirts! Throughout the tournament, Baylor was clutch for the Martians. She played great defense, won battles for rebounds, handled the ball with poise, and delivered timely buckets. Baylor grabbed the bull by the horns in the finals, scoring a straight line drive and converting four clutch free throws. She earned recognition as the Northwood Team Camp #1 OT Tournament MVP. Against elite teams at camp, Baylor made her presence felt on both ends of the court. She drove hard downhill, spun quickly, and scored a tough contested layup. Baylor chased down the ball and deflected it away from behind. She used an excellent pivot to score a layup and earned style points when she snagged an offensive rebound, then finished the putback with an athletic reverse layup.

Laila stepped up for Pine River at the Northwood Team Camp. She fired accurate shots from the perimeter, facilitated the rock to open teammates, and drove hard to the basket. Laila froze her defender twice with a shot fake and drove by both times for layups. Laila snagged a steal and dished an assist to a cutting teammate. She used a double spin dribble move to create space and dished a great bounce pass. Laila buried a mid-range jumper and drained multiple triples from the corner.

Kara turned in a clutch performance for Lake Orion during the OT Tourney at Northwood Team Camp. She took the ball aggressively to the hole to cause fouls, converted three free throws, and blocked a shot on the perimeter to help the Dragons advance. Kara worked hard on defense to create steals throughout camp and shot the ball confidently from three-point distance.
