This was the first weekend that I've had the opportunity to watch Sydney Savoury compete live and she has not disappointed. This is a next level hooper with an elite feel for the game as a SG. Offensively when she is off the ball, she a threat to kill you in every way imaginable. She can pull up off the catch from all distances away from the bucket, she can get into her dribble game and attack off the bounce for an easier look in the midrange, or she can get all the way for a finish at the rim. Not to mention, she also rebounds and assists others at a steady rate throughout the duration of a contest. I can't wait to see Savoury at the next level. She is going to be a household name at a P4 program before you know it.

The most impressive player I've seen at this event as a whole this weekend, no matter of age level is PG - Jazelle "GG" Banks from Team Durant 17U EYBL. Banks can do it all for you at the PG spot. She can handle better than everyone else it seems, she has incredible court vision in both the half and full courts, and her coordinated athletic ability is second-to-none for her size. Long story short, this is a walking offensive weapon. A walking assist or bucket, depending on whatever is needed. When you account for all of that and understand that she can also set up her team's offense and lead as well, you start to see her real worth.

Brooklyn Haywood is excited to watch. She possesses natural ability as a PG coming down the floor and it's notable. She is someone that can be your pass first PG while creating for others of the dribble or she can become a score-first type, where she is always looking to create buckets for herself more than anything else. She competes with a great change of pace and that helps her keep her defenders guessing. Defensively, Haywood doesn't take plays off. She is willing to leave it all on the floor and that's been the case this entire weekend too. [program_tooltip program_id='712375' first='All' last='in'] all, Haywood is an impressive prospect from out West and her team is going to have a chance to bring home a EYBL 17U Natty before tomorrow comes to a close if they play their cards right.

When we first started evaluating J. Williams 4/5 years ago, she was an elite athlete that stood out as a defensive mastermind. Since then, it's been much of the same for Williams but she also also added to her back offensively. Now she can score from all three levels at a better than average rate, she can counter while attacking off the dribble if good defenders beat her to the spot, and she can produce without having to possess the rock for long periods of time. Those three things are pretty noteworthy at this point moving into her Senior year. This is a Creighton WBB commit for the future and that should be able to take Williams to an even higher level of gameplay once she gets on campus.

Haylen McElhiney is someone to know if you don't already. The 6'1 guard is a mismatch nightmare for others that have to stand across from her. HM understands how to use her size to her advantage. Whenever she can she will post up anyone else who is smaller, mainly doing her damage within the three point arc. This is someone with an old school style of play in multiple facets of the game. She keeps it simple, makes the most of her chances, takes what the defense gives her, and she is always looking for the easiest way to produce for her teammates. They always say, work smarter not harder and HM lives up to that.
