Now that the AAU season has ended, I'd like to start shifting my attention slowly to the upcoming high school season. Some players've had a solid spring and summer season that they could turn into a productive winter at their respective high schools. I want to use this time to earmark a handful of players who could have breakout campaigns in the 2025-26 season.

[player_tooltip player_id='992488' first='Ava' last='Hendrickson']

The West Salem forward is a player who could be a contender for Coulee Conference Player of the Year next season. Hendrickson is a physical forward who excelled each time I watched her play last spring, and played like she did when I saw her last fall. Hendrickson has a role to play for the Panthers this season, and if they're around a 20-win team again, Hendrickson will have a hand in that.

[player_tooltip player_id='751240' first='Autumn' last='Crowe']

Last season, Crowe was the secondary option for St. Mary Catholic, and looking back, it felt like she was in a box. The Zephyr was mainly a perimeter shooter and rarely looked to put her head down and attack. However, she showed that side of her game, especially in Louisville. As a player whom I'd expect will have the ball most of the time, Crowe is ready for the potentially increased role.

[player_tooltip player_id='992511' first='Quinn' last='Lodes']

The Kettle Moraine guard should be the premier player in the backcourt this season. Lodes ended her season with plenty of confidence and was aggressive in games to end the season. As she got comfortable in the Laser's program and found her footing, she was a player who helped take that team to another level. The experience she gained last season will help her start this season well, and having a summer playing UAA basketball with the [program_tooltip program_id='713045' first='Wisconsin' last='Lakers'] will help everything slow down a step, allowing Lodes to play freely this high school season.

[player_tooltip player_id='931583' first='Brooklyn' last='Luehring']

The Kettle Moraine Lutheran guard played as a secondary guard in the Chargers' backcourt with her sister last season. Luehring excelled in her role and had games where she made significant shots to help her team win games against some of the best teams in the state. In her sophomore season, it appears Luehring will have the reins of the offense, which she proved she could handle with Chapman's 15U team that dominated everyone they played within the state of Wisconsin. She's ready to take control at KML this season.
