[player_tooltip player_id='1271272' first='Andi' last='Mullen'] somehow did not receive much press during her junior season, which is baffling. Now coming into her senior year, she will be an excellent pairing alongside Three Rivers College commit, Drew Jackson.

Mullen tended to pop off for massive scoring outings practically every month. She was feeling it from beyond the arc against Maumelle Charter in January, where she knocked down 6 3-pointers on her way to a 27-point, 8-rebound, and 3-steal performance. She can get going in a hurry from beyond, becoming a lethal weapon off the catch.

The senior guard is also a great defender. She had multiple games with 3 or more steals, including 4-steal outings against Rose Bud and Midland, and a 3-steal outing against Pangburn. She overwhelms opposing ball-handlers, forcing them to cough up turnovers whenever she is guarding them tightly.

[player_tooltip player_id='1271272' first='Andi' last='Mullen'] is an underrated guard in the 3A-6, but she could have an incredible senior season. I suspect she will have a strong debut in the 2026 ranking once the update is released.

Batesville had a rough season in 2024-25, but with 6'2" [player_tooltip player_id='1268133' first='Eryn' last='Pennington']'s stock rising, they have a great chance to improve this coming year.

Pennington had a solid sophomore season last year, and now she is ready to take the next step. She is a monster post defender who made her presence felt down low. One of her best defensive performances was against Searcy in February, recording 5 rejections to go along with her 8 points and 9 boards.

Batesville's center has excellent defensive instincts. The timing on her blocks is impeccable, making sure to send the shot into the stands, but without fouling. With her stature and long arms, no one in her conference can shoot over her successfully.

I want to see Batesville utilize [player_tooltip player_id='1268133' first='Eryn' last='Pennington'] more on offense this coming year. At 6'2", not many defenders would be able to succeed in blocking her shot. The defense and the rebounding are already stellar, but if she establishes herself as a reliable scoring option who can go to work on the block, there is no reason why she is not a top-50 player.

I cannot believe [player_tooltip player_id='1260220' first='Tynlee' last='Efird'] missed out on being ranked after the last update, especially with the way she played to start her freshman season.

Efird erupted for a 24-point, 4-rebound, and 3-steal outing against Nevada County in Ouachita's season opener. At the end of the season, Efird had 20 points and 4 rebounds against Fordyce. Not long after that performance, she had a double-double against Junction City, posting 23 points and 10 rebounds.

Efird is a great 3-point shooter who is particularly deadly on either wing. She does not hesitate off the catch, and she has a pure lefty release on her jumper. The incoming sophomore can also attack the basket or get to her spots inside the arc.

Regardless of where [player_tooltip player_id='1260220' first='Tynlee' last='Efird'] is ranked after this next update, she should be higher. She returns to an uber-talented Ouachita squad next season, so keep an eye on her.

El Dorado has several talented players, but they just cannot seem to put it all together. That has a good chance to change, however, as [player_tooltip player_id='1263853' first='Cincere' last='Woods'] should be receiving more minutes in her sophomore season.

Woods is not like other high school centers in Arkansas: she can shoot the lights out from 3-point range. Woods is very comfortable handling the ball and creating her shot. She has some of the better handles I have seen in the state at that position, and she is crafty enough to create separation and knock down the long-ball.

Despite a limited role during her freshman season, she proved that she could run in transition, score from inside and out, defend the paint, grab rebounds, and make solid passes. She can do a bit of everything, and with solid IQ and footwork, her skill will continue to grow.

[player_tooltip player_id='1263853' first='Cincere' last='Woods'] will be ranked by the next update. However, she is still improving by the day. I know I am not the only one who believes this, but Woods has some of the best potential out of everyone in the 2028 class, and sooner rather than later, she will prove that.

Mount St. Mary's has not had a tremendous amount of success recently in the 5A Central, but with the addition of [player_tooltip player_id='1262501' first='Stella' last='DeSalvo'], they may surprise a lot of people.

Even in middle school, it was clear that DeSalvo was perhaps the best player on every court she stepped on. Now, in a tough conference, she will have to prove she belongs.

DeSalvo is a great outside shooter who is not bothered by defensive closeouts. She hits contested jumpers about as efficiently as wide-open ones. She is just as solid when she is attacking the basket. If there is a lane open, DeSalvo will exploit it, finding a way to score down low. The guard has also showcased her craftiness, having the step-through and euro-step moves down pat.

[player_tooltip player_id='1262501' first='Stella' last='DeSalvo'] is a great scoring guard who I believe will be able to transition seamlessly to high school basketball. Keep an eye on DeSalvo and the rest of her squad, who have a chance to be successful next season.
