4A Players we should be looking forward to Watching this Season

On defense, she uses her length to bother the opposition in the post, either blocking their shots or providing a worthy contest. She can also use that length to grab every rebound in her sight.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On the other end, McCredy scores with ease in the paint. She uses her strength to move defenders out of the way, then uses her soft touch to score around the basket. She can also bring the ball up the floor and create the offense for her squad.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1093296' first='Lauren' last='McCredy'] is highly versatile, and she has a very bright future. This summer with the Northwest Arkansas Bruins, she had solid performances during a number of different tournaments, helping her team achieve a 29-9 overall record during the AAU season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Price played well in the Firecracker Blast Championship Game in Fayetteville in early July. She put up 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals, helping the Bruins win the championship. As the 3 steals suggest, she is a phenomenal defender, forcing turnovers almost every trip down the floor. On offense, one of her strengths is her 3-point shooting, where she can knock down perimeter shots with ease with her quick release.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1186834' first='Anna' last='Price'] is a rising star in the state, and she has already received some collegiate attention after picking up offers from Oklahoma Wesleyan and Southwestern College. Robinson Lady Senators.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Williams was a near-20-point-per-game scorer last season. She was a great outside shooter, with the ability to hit perimeter shots off the dribble or off the catch. She can also attack the basket, using her athleticism to shoot up and over the defense. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1202392' first='Rylee' last='Williams'] is one of the premier guards in the 2028 class, and now she will be one of the best players in the entire 4A classification. Bucket up and grab your popcorn, Joe T. I cannot fathom how difficult last year was for her, but I have a profound respect for the way she was able to push through. Her resilience is evident, especially on the court, where she has helped Mills thrive.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gregory led Mills in assists, steals, was all-conference, and was an all-state honorable mention last season. She is a remarkable defender who is often tasked with guarding the opposition's best guards. Some of the most well-rounded performances included a 5-steal outing against Fountain Lake, a 7-assist game versus Malvern, and a 6-assist and 3-steal showing against Heber Springs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gregory is a pass-first guard on offense, always finding ways for her teammates to score. On the other end of the floor, Gregory is a pest, stripping the ball directly from the grasp of opposing guards. She is also a great rebounder. She does not give up on plays, putting a miss back on the offensive glass, or ending a possession for the opposition on the other side.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='876289' first='Jeneva' last='Gregory'] is one of the toughest and best all-around players this state has to offer. She is back at Southside Charter after a great first season on varsity, as well as a great summer playing in various college camps.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One camp that Witt particularly played well in was the UALR team camp back in July. She averaged 23 points over 6 games, scoring 36 in one of those contests. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Witt showed tremendous toughness over the course of the season and this summer. She attacks the basket with all of her might, muscling her way through the defense and having no problem scoring through contact. She has a nice shooting stroke, and she can knock down jumpers off the dribble extremely well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1180592' first='Maci' last='Witt'] will be a household name by this time next year, just you wait and see.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>These are a few of the many great players the 4A classification has to offer, who we should all be excited to watch this year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
