John Hardin has some extremely talented young prospects on the roster, and [player_tooltip player_id='1260659' first='Ja'Leigha' last='Bussey'] is certainly one of them. A 5'10 guard/wing with a well-rounded game, Ja'Leigha is a lethal three-point shooter who excels in transition, finishes well around the rim, and makes just as much of an impact on the defensive end. She helped FBC Kentucky 2029 capture the Select Events Nationals Championship last month and was just named 8th Grade MVP at the Battle of the Bridges. I think Ja'Leigha is on a D-I trajectory and has a very bright future ahead. (Photo Above)

A multi-sport star at Clay County, [player_tooltip player_id='1202936' first='Maci' last='White'] is just as talented on the hardwood as she is on the softball field. As a 7th grader, she helped lead the Lady Tigers to a 16-11 season, averaging 15 points, 6 rebounds, 2.6 steals, and 1 block per game. Maci brings good size, length, and a versatile skill set to the floor. She's a strong perimeter shooter, has polished footwork and post moves to finish inside, and consistently makes an impact on the defensive end. A strong rebounder and high-IQ player, Maci is a rising talent with big upside.

[player_tooltip player_id='1176089' first='Kollyn' last='Groves'] established herself as one of the top young players in the 16th Region last season, leading Boyd County with 13 points per game and helping guide them to an 18-12 record and a 64th District title. She's a sharpshooter from beyond the arc, a solid ball handler with good court vision, and uses her strong frame to absorb contact and finish at the rim. With her skill set and upside, Kollyn is a 2030 prospect to keep a close eye on moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='1279331' first='Mia' last='Martin'] is a name to know out of the 14th Region. She led the Lady Crusaders with 15.8 points per game and pulled down 4.2 rebounds. Mia shoots the trey ball at a rapid clip, with a quick release and deep range that allows her to knock down multiple threes per contest. Mia also crashes the boards on both ends.

[player_tooltip player_id='1274577' first='Laylee' last='Phillips'] has good size and a solid frame, giving her a physical edge on the floor. She can create off the dribble and finishes well through contact at the rim. She can shoot the deep ball and also does good job getting others involved. North Laurel has produced its share of talented players over the years, and Laylee looks like the next one in line.
