These are a few names that everyone should know coming into the 2025-26 season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1060871' first='Camryn' last='Schmidt'] has had one of the best offseasons out of everyone in the state. She has quickly risen through the rankings, and I doubt that will stop anytime soon.

Schmidt has picked up several Division I offers recently, including Stetson, Iona, UTSA, La Salle, North Alabama, Tulsa, UCA, just to name a several. After helping lead Northside to a win in the 6A championship game last season in her first year with the team, Schmidt is back, this time as the number one option.

Schmidt is an excellent slasher, using her long frame to easily score over the defense. Her length is her most evident strength, as it allows her to be a great rebounder and defender, in addition to her offensive abilities. Like most great forwards and bigs in today's game, the senior can stretch the floor with her solid outside shot.

I would imagine that [player_tooltip player_id='1060871' first='Camryn' last='Schmidt'] dominates this coming year, and maybe that is why all of these schools are jumping on the hype train, which is heading into the station in Fort Smith.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180760' first='Mia' last='Hopkins'] is one of the premier post defenders coming out of the 6A classification. Though she will have to fight some solid young teammates to keep her starting job, there is no denying her ability to impact the game defensively.

I was ignorant of Hopkins' game until I watched her play Little Rock Central this past year, and she put on a shot blocking clinic with 7 denials against the reigning 6A champs. She has excellent defensive IQ, perfect timing, and physicality, all great attributes for solid defenders. It also helps that she is 6'1" and has a long reach.

The offense is still coming along for Hopkins, but her length makes it easy for her to score over the defense in the post. She is also a great rebounder, allowing her to gather misses and put them right back up and in.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180760' first='Mia' last='Hopkins'] is still an underrated player in the 6A classification, but I would imagine her continued stellar defensive play puts her on the recruiting map before long.

The #1 and #2 positions in the 2028 ranking are closer than some might think, and it is all because of the dynamic play the state has seen from [player_tooltip player_id='1090910' first='Payton' last='Caudle'].

Caudle recently picked up an offer from BYU, which was after she picked up offers from Oregon, Harvard, Florida State, and Memphis. She is now up to 14 offers after just one season of varsity basketball.

Caudle's ability to score the ball is incredible, as she can hit jumpers from beyond the arc, mid-range, and from right in close. She can also get into the painted area and score with ease, even through contact. Her 6'0" frame helps her become such a solid scorer in the post.

[player_tooltip player_id='1090910' first='Payton' last='Caudle'], essentially being a 6'0" point guard, is unfair. Good thing for Fayetteville, she is on their side.

[player_tooltip player_id='753259' first='Gia' last='Campbell'] will be playing her first year of 6A basketball in 2025-26 after transferring from Bauxite. She instantly becomes one of the top point guards in the 6A Central.

Campbell is coming off a successful stint with her AAU squad, Team Icon 16u, as well as an opportunity at the Euro Youth Basketball Tour in Spain. How many hoopers from central Arkansas can say they have played in basketball tournaments on the international stage? Probably very few.

It is not hard to wonder why Campbell was selected to represent the USA in that tournament. She is a phenomenal scorer, being able to score while attacking the basket, shooting over the defense in the lane, and knocking down jumpers in the mid-range and 3-point areas. She also excels when she finds her open teammates and when she creates havoc on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='753259' first='Gia' last='Campbell'] will be one of the top names to look for this coming year, for obvious reasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='976777' first='Addison' last='Greeley'] is still an underrated name in the 6A classification, but after being a crucial part of the [program_tooltip program_id='715977' first='AAO' last='Flight'] 16u S40 team that won the Select Events Basketball Tournament back in July, the 2025-26 season is looking like her breakout season.

She has yet to make her presence felt on Bentonville West's varsity squad, but she was tearing it up on their Junior High squad, shooting 64% from 3-point range at one point during the beginning of conference play. She ended the year averaging 12 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals per game.

Greeley is a phenomenal shooter. If that 64% clip was not impressive enough, she finished her freshman campaign shooting 93% from the free throw line, as well as 48% from the field.

[player_tooltip player_id='976777' first='Addison' last='Greeley'] could be the missing piece the Lady Wolverines need as they look to become more competitive in the 6A West. Do not be surprised if she has an all-conference level season as a sophomore.
