Holcomb power forward [player_tooltip player_id='1213559' first='Malia' last='Ruda'] has steadily improved her game, carving out a role as a dependable presence in the Longhorns' frontcourt. After limited varsity time early in her career, Ruda made noticeable strides as a junior, averaging nearly 2 rebounds per game while adding valuable minutes to a team that advanced to the 3A state tournament for the first time since 2013. These efforts didn't go without recognition, she received honorable mention all-conference honors in the Greater Western Activities Conference, highlighting her growing impact. Coming into her senior year, her continued growth on the glass and expanded offensive role could make her an even bigger difference-maker for Holcomb.

St. John-Hudson's [player_tooltip player_id='1216209' first='Mia' last='Meyer'] has emerged as one of the Lady Tigers' most reliable playmakers. Known for her ability to rise to the occasion, Meyer shined in postseason play last season—dropping 26 points with 10 rebounds in a sub-state victory and following it with a 23-point performance against Spearville to help secure a state tournament berth. Her scoring versatility, including the ability to knock down key 3-pointers, and her presence on the glass make her a difficult matchup for opponents. Even in the Class 1A quarterfinals against powerhouse Centralia, Meyer contributed 10 points, showing she can compete on the state's biggest stage. Going into her senior season, with her combination of offensive firepower, rebounding ability, and composure in high-pressure games position her to be a leader for St. John-Hudson and one of the top small forwards to watch in Kansas Class 1A.

Hutchinson senior [player_tooltip player_id='1263306' first='Ava' last='Krone'] has shown flashes of her potential in the Salthawks' frontcourt and is poised to take on a larger role next season. The versatile post player contributed in key moments throughout the 2024–25 campaign—scoring 7 points in a road game at Maize South, grabbing 5 rebounds against Olathe South, and making critical steals and rebounds in Hutchinson's upset win over No. 1 Derby. With senior leaders graduating, Krone is expected to be a key returner for the Salthawks. She has the combination of size, rebounding ability, and defensive presence that gives Hutchinson a steady inside option, and continued growth offensively could make her one of the team's most important players in 2025–26.

Rock Creek's [player_tooltip player_id='1263305' first='Brynna' last='Zoeller'] has quickly established herself as one of the most impactful centers in Class 4A. Averaging 12.5 points and 6.8 rebounds per game last season, she gave the Mustangs a reliable scoring option inside while also ranking among the top rebounders in Kansas. Zoeller's game isn't limited to the offensive end. She put her versatility on full display with standout performances, including a 20-point, 7-rebound, 6-block outing, and consistently controlled the paint against strong competition. Her ability to anchor the defense, dominate the glass, and step up in big moments has made her a cornerstone for Rock Creek.
