Here are a few athletes out of Nebraska that have either recently committed or they have recently been offered to compete at the next level following their impressive AAU seasons this Spring/Summer. Every player listed has shown off their skill-set over the years with their varsity high school team and that has helped them prove to recruiters that they have what it takes to suit up following their high school careers.

Concordia out of Seward, NE got a STEAL this past week when [player_tooltip player_id='964973' first='Ava' last='Reed'] out of Scottsbluff committed to their program. Reed is a 5'11 PG that can handle, shoot, rebound, and defend. She checks off a lot of boxes that college recruiters might have so it wouldn't surprises me if she transferred to a D1 level one day in the near future after a successful Freshman campaign on campus. This is someone that isn't only skilled, she is dedicated to the game and she keeps working to get even better. She doesn't seem satisfied with any result and that is going to take her places. Not only in this game but in life.

SG keeps bringing in the interest from schools across the Midwest at a very different levels. This times is NAIA - Morningside out of Iowa. Like we have said in the past, Oakland-Craig has some hoopers that will compete at the collegiate level and this is one of them. Guzinski is very good in the catch and shoot aspects of the sport, she can also pull up off the dribble on the attack or she can get to the bucket for a crafty finish. We have seen steady production out of SG for a few years now at the varsity level and I don't expect that to change this upcoming Winter for her Senior year.

Doane has thrown out an offer to another really solid prospect in CG - [player_tooltip player_id='758992' first='Morgan' last='Timmins'] of Millard South. Timmins might not be the one to take over a game on all levels right now but she produces. Sometimes its in the scoring department, sometimes its in the rebounding and defending departments, but either way, no matter what it is, Timmins is noticeable when she competes and that's not something you can say for all prospects out there. A lot of others get caught-up in the mix but not this one. At Millard South this Winter it's going to be interesting. They have several players, who are coming back hungry for playing time and only going to help them compete against other well known programs across the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1221233' first='Kinley' last='Ford'] received her first D2 offer from UNK a few weeks ago but she just recently posted in publicly. Ford is highly considered as the best 2029 in the state of Nebraska and at this point, I would have to agree with really no debate. Ford plays the right way, she is EXTREMELY skilled for her position as a PG, and she is someone that wants to kill her competition. There are a lot of great players out there competing but not many have that mentality. Ford doesn't care about a trophy or award. She cares about beating you. Plain and simple. Thats the mentality of a real competitor and I can't wait to see that more and more come this Winter. She is going to take the state by storm in the blink of an eye. Trust me.
