Emma's new PA teammates are going to love her. She provides a safety net on defense as well as reliable finishing downlow on offense. This'll make her a main feature of the squad this season. Her stature combined with refined skills separates her from a lot of other bigs around. She knows how to be effective, yet efficient, rarely ever taking away from others.

O'Leary adds so much positional value to a NMH team looking to do damage this year. Her abilities embody a player that's willing to do whatever it takes to get the win. It may not always look pretty with Shannon, but she gets the job done. The activity in and around the paint on both sides of the ball is indispensable.

[player_tooltip player_id='1274414' first='Ella' last='Higgins'] (2028) | 6'0 PF/C | Milton Academy

A leader that establishes herself with deep paint touches and provides relief on both sides of the ball for teammates. Her paint presence makes the guards' job easier, plus Ella is a relentless finisher, so initiators relish getting her the ball early. On defense she gives full effort and backs down for no challenge either.

Alexa is a big body that's a natural defensive rim deterrent. She has the physical tools to absorb contact, keeps players out the lane and fights for boards. Scaringello is coming along on offense too. Her toughness allows her to thrive in the paint and she makes herself available as the offense develops. The robust screens she sets greatly contribute to the offense running smoothly too.

With a lot on her plate in Sophie's first full year in states, she's proved to be an intriguing name to keep an eye on. Dupeyron had to adjust to playstyle, conditioning, team chemistry, language barriers, etc. and was still a positive on the floor. Despite Sophie having to overcome many underlying factors of the game, this never slowed her down. This season she'll be much more comfortable and KUA will have an abundance of opportunities for her to shine bright with her hardworking, utilitarian skillset.
