Up to this point in her career and [player_tooltip player_id='884645' first='Brynna' last='Renard'] has been showing her worth every time she laces up her kicks to take the floor. Renard, a 6'1 CG, is someone with a lot of versatility at this point in her career. She is big enough and physical enough to kill anyone that might want to matchup with her underneath but she is also skilled enough to step out and attack from the outside. Right now, Renard really demonstrates what she can do best near the paint. She is a standout, not only on offense but as a defensive stopper as well. If she can continue to build on that, she is going to continue to rise during these Player Rankings Updates moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='884656' first='Macie' last='Reiner'] capped off her AAU travel season but grabbing a few D1 offers to compete at the next level when her high school career comes to a close. Reiner is a leader with the ball in her possession but she is at her best off the ball at the 2 or 3 spot. She is agile in her movement getting down the floor and she works well in open space. She isn't afraid to cut behind a lazy defender to get an easy score or she willing to screen to open up others around her when she isn't necessarily involved in the set/play. All in all, a lot of like out of Reiner at this point in the process and that's why she moves up to #7 in this Update.

It's debatable but [player_tooltip player_id='882865' first='Jo' last='Metoyer'] might be the most skilled prospect out of this entire 2028 Class when it comes to raw skill within the game of basketball. The way to Metoyer brings the rock down the floor is impressive. She just floats with it. She would be defined as being as cool as the other side of the pillow. She doesn't seem to feel pressure and she happens to make plays in big moments. Last Winter, Metoyer helped her high school program to the State Tournament. She will have that same opportunity this next eight months with her new program at Omaha North. A program in which if everything falls into place like they have planned, then the sky is the limit.

This is the Winter that the state of Nebraska really finds out what [player_tooltip player_id='882860' first='Londyn' last='Whitney'] can really do on the hardwood. Whitney is a 6'1 PF that competes with Millard West. In years past, we have not seen a lot of Whitney because of her Varsity starters around her that were upperclassmen but that all changes this time around. We should see Whitney in full force over the next few years for the Wildcats. She is someone that holds her own at a high rate underneath with her mixture of height, muscle mass, touch, and coordination. If she can show that she should be a part of the team's main system, she is sure to put up some numbers as a Sophomore over the next few months.

I'm expecting [player_tooltip player_id='752947' first='Liv' last='Schieber'] of Elkhorn South to step up this Winter once again as a Sophomore. Elkhorn South has some studs throughout the ranks so to standout as a Varsity producer isn't the easiest but for Schieber, it's more than do-able. This is a player that showed her skill level in several different moments. She did all the right things, making smart plays and not forcing action that would turn into troubling situations. As long as she continued to work on her craft in the off-season, she should be on the up & up moving forward stepping into this upcoming Winter season.
