Due to a transfer situation, Schieber was not able to joint the Elkhorn South team until later in the season. She played in the final ten games for the Storm and her game steadily improved when she scored 21 points in Elkhorn South’s district semifinal game against Bellevue West to end the season. Scheiber is a heady point guard, who can defend at a high level and is ready to attack the basket when the opportunity presents itself.

stands out to everyone watching not only as a top notch playmaker on offense but because of her stifling defense. Schieber understands when her opponent is going to put the ball in front of her with a chance of taking it away and she usually jumps on that opportunity. Schieber is also very good at timing her matchups. Once she figures out what they do, she figures out when they do it and she acts from there. Overall, Schieber is one of the better Guard prospects that this 2028 group has to offer throughout Nebraska at this time and we say that with confidence.

of Elkhorn South to step up this Winter once again as a Sophomore. Elkhorn South has some studs throughout the ranks so to standout as a Varsity producer isn’t the easiest but for Schieber, it’s more than do-able. This is a player that showed her skill level in several different moments. She did all the right things, making smart plays and not forcing action that would turn into troubling situations. As long as she continued to work on her craft in the off-season, she should be on the up & up moving forward stepping into this upcoming Winter season.

on the hardwood. Schieber is highly regarded as one of the best defenders out of the 2028 Class at the guard position and she is also extremely skilled offensively, being able to produce with having the ball for a limited amount of time or dribbles. She doesn’t have to have a lot of possession to really make a difference and college coaches LOVE to see that. If Schieber does her thing coming up her, she is going to continue to bring in collegiate interest. She is most definitely at the skill level at play college ball, she just needs to continue to grow as she gets older.

rounds off the Top 10 because of her lock-down defense, her natural basketball IQ, and her better than average skill-set with the ball in her possession. Schieber is the one that stacks up the steals for your team. She can lock in on a certain opponent and hold them to small numbers in the production categories of the game. Offensively, she is going to be someone that runs the show. She is going to be the one to get others in the right spots, the one to make the extra pass, or the one that is willing to move away from the ball to create more space for her fellow teammates. I’d also like to note that she is someone that everyone would love to coach. She brings a great attitude to the court, no matter the circumstance and that stands out to those paying attention. This Spring/Summer she takes a big step up to compete with ETG Midwest on the Adidas Circuit. An experience I’m sure she is excited to be apart of.

Liv Schieber is going to have a lasting impact at the Varsity level for the next couple of years and she did a great job of putting her best foot forward this past weekend. Schieber is a natural on the court. That’s the easiest way to put it. She puts in hard wood and she does all the little things, so I’m sure it’s a grind but she makes it seems easy and that is not something you can teach from a coaching perspective. This might be her first year at the high school level but I wouldn’t be surprised if she played Varsity right away or was at least on their bench while competing on JV. She is a difference maker most of the time when she takes the court and that should be a constant.

is going to be a prospect that will be considered for the Top Five out of this 2028 Class, if she goes out as a Freshman and performs in the ways that she is capable of. During AAU season, Schieber was honored as a Second-Team selection on the Select-40 Circuit at the 15U Level. A prestigious award for someone that was competing up a grade level this past six months. This Summer with her Elkhorn South Storm program, Schieber competed up on the Varsity level so I would imagine the same will come this Winter. The Storm will return a young core with A LOT of promise. If they can build on what they set in place a year ago, they are going to continue to be on the rise this Winter, beating several other highly talented programs.

has put together a pretty impressive season as a whole while playing up a grade level. She is leading her team from the guard position by example, she is producing on both ends of the floor, and she is communicating at a high rate with everyone else around her. Looking at Schieber, her play style, and where she plans to attend high school and you start to realize that should could step up as a Freshman and make a difference within her Storm program almost immediately. I’m not sure how Coach Nannan is going to go about this but if she is put in the position to be successful, she is going to take full advantage of it and I can’t wait to see that first hand in the near future.

is going to be playing up and competing with
Nebraska Supreme
15U team for this next few months and that is going to do her wonders in the long run. Schieber is a guard, that can move around the floor to all the different Guard positions at this moment in time but her best ability seems to be at the 1 spot, bringing up the basketball. From what I’ve seen, Schieber is coordinated with a tight handle, smooth when attacking, and willing to do whatever it takes to get her teammates the ball in the open court. I’m not sure how she is going to fit in with this Supreme group but she is someone to watch this year. She could make waves in more ways than one if put in the correct situations.

Liv Schieber showed her athleticism and one thing that was known, she was getting to the basket every chance she had. Everyone on her team was capable of stretching the floor because they could all shoot. She simplified the game and took what the defense gave her, which were drives to the basket. Whether that was her getting downhill to score or make the pass to an open teammate.
