Gainesville Area Prospects Ready to Tip Off

With seasoned leaders returning to anchor their teams and a crop of promising new faces eager to make their mark, the Gainesville area (including Columbia and Marion County) is loaded with talent poised to shape the season — both within the region and across the state. She leads her team and is a playmaking guard who gets everyone involved. Patterson is a sniper on the court and can also get to the rim and score as well. McCoy can shoot the three with the best of them and when she heats up behind the arc, she is unstoppable on the floor. As a Junior, McCVoy averaged nearly 16 points per game and knocked down 50 threes. In the two previous years, she knocked down 81 and 82 threes, respectively. She has the ability to play on both ends of the court. Wilson averaged 12.4 points and 13.4 rebounds. She brings a lot of talent to her division.
