Davis is "long and athletic," which is the base, and seeing her score off the dribble using a deceptive first step was nice, yet so was her rebounding and going coast to coast to score; she rebounds on both ends by the way. Her pull-up jumper was solid as she elevated and dropped over defenders, plus her "catch and shoot" looked good. She also did a nice job defensively

Henderson is entering her first year of high school and since she's a "long and athletic" guard, that too is the base, she showed intensity on both ends, Her "on the ball" pressure helped to create turnovers, she also played the passing lane a few times yet she attacked the basket strongly and finished after contact plus her court vision was solid

Nadgonde isn't really my first look, but my second look in exactly a year, when I caught her at this very event, see evaluation here. She's also a "long and athletic" guard who had already shown me she could defend "on the ball" and score off the dribble, yet her "catch and shoot" while being defended has gotten better, so has her "stop and pop" in transition

Bennett is also an incoming freshman, and when you factor in that she was playing 3 years up and handling the pressure, I compute things differently in my head, no cheat sheet needed. She does things instinctively, like reading switches ahead of time, her "on the ball" pressure baseline to baseline looked good, and she scored off the dribble. Another plus was her outrebounding taller players and handling the ball afterward

Simon was a surprise for several reasons, starting with her going AFTA everything off the rim on both ends and falling into that "you won't outwork" me group. She's a couple of inches shy of "the magic number," yet she plays as if she is 6'0 tall, and her interior defense, as well as her scoring around the basket, putbacks included, were all pluses
