This year's Carolinas Freshman Showcase returned to the Rock Hill Sports Center – a venue that has already seen a large number of marquee events emanate from its courts. It was not the only Freshman Showcase that occurred across the nation as similar events also took place in Colorado, Wisconsin, Indiana and Oklahoma.

Our post-Carolinas Freshman Showcase has included recognizing top performers from names that comprised Teams 1 and 2. Without further ado, our attention turns to Team 3.

When one watches Marshall play, one can see that she plays as if she has more experience than a typical freshman – because she does. Marshall has played at the varsity level since she was a seventh grader and has played on plenty of big stages with 4A Westside. A versatile product of AEBL Girlz, Marshall will exert the hard work it takes to complete a play and looks to consistently come through. Part of her versatility included the ability to consistently haul in rebounds even though she primarily plays as a guard in the backcourt. Marshall's Rams are expected to be strong contenders again this coming season after advancing to the 4A championship game in 2024-25.

Claiborne had an additionally long trek to get to the Rock Hill Sports Center given she was one of two among this year's field not from either Carolina. Even though she is entering freshman status, she played up in class during the AAU season with Vizion Nxt Pro 2026. It likely easy to overlook someone like Claiborne who only stands at 4-foot-9 but she can still make things very difficult for opposing ball carriers with how active she is on defense. Claiborne puts emphasis on making the right passes and can get herself in position behind the 3-point arc to connect from deep. The Patrick Henry team she will be part of this season finished with a 17-9 record in 2024-25.

It is only fitting that Davis has spent her time on the travel circuit playing with a team called FBC Drive – because one can see when she plays that she has a drive and determination to improve. Davis fuses together skill with versatility with her ability to play either as a small forward or as a combo guard. She is tough for defenses to contain given she is accurate from behind the 3-point arc and can attack the rim even though her build is more commonly found in frontcourt prospects. She will play for a Wheatmore team that is making the move from 2A to 3A.

When basketball is not occupying the bulk of her athletic schedule, that is reserved for what she does in the volleyball realm. Regardless of what a defense may throw her way, Seibles will find her way around said defense and complete a play. She can handle the rock with either her right or her left hand and maintains a high degree of activity even when the ball is not in her hands. Seibles approaches the game with a high basketball IQ and a winner's attitude. After playing with Fire Ball Basketball Academy which played on the Puma NXT circuit, she looks ahead to the 2025-26 season with a Falls Lake team that finished 18-8 last season and is remaining in 1A despite realignment.
