2028 Rankings Reach 145 Prospects

The 2028 rankings update is the final class update before the 2029 class watch list is released. If follows the recent releases of the 2026 and 2027 class updates. This third quarter update now includes 145 prospects with nearly 25 more on the watch list. Several make their debut within the top 60.

A tremendous amount of work goes into building and updating rankings that reflect Prep Girls Hoops' (PGH) primary guideline of ranking athletes on their potential to play college basketball. All PGH scouts from Kansas and other states made impactful contributions to the rankings. A wide range of other information sources feed into our player knowledge. We catch games in person and online; study highlights; read reports; and communicate with a wide range of people to distill information down to compile the extensive lists. Reports from outside scouting and media sources, coaches at a variety of levels, parents, fans and players are among the sources also mined. News, photos, video, reports and comments continue to be immensely helpful in informing and shaping the rankings.
