Tryouts are just over a month away. As we get ready for the 2025-26 season, let's take a look at the All-Group 2 returning players from last season.

1st Team

[player_tooltip player_id='898071' first='Reagen' last='Powell'] - Middle Township

Reagen led her Middle Township team to a 27-6 record, a Cape-Atlantic League championship and a South Group 2 sectional title in her junior season. She is back for more as a senior after leading her team in scoring last year, finishing 2nd in rebounding, 3rd in 3-pointers, blocks and steals and 5th in assists. She is 159 points shy of 1,000 for her career and will also chase 600 career rebounds this season. As a junior, she had 10 games of 20+ points and 5 double doubles. Reagen scored 547 points in her junior season and, along with fellow returning seniors [player_tooltip player_id='669303' first='Abbey' last='Cappelletti'] who led the team in 3-pointers and [player_tooltip player_id='871258' first='Sarah' last='Farrow'] who led the team in rebounds, Middle Township will look to repeat as South Group 2 champs and get all the way to the Group 2 finals despite the loss of 3rd team All-Group 2 graduate McKenzie Palek who is now playing for Felician University.

[player_tooltip player_id='559069' first='Jordyn' last='Hollawell'] - Manasquan

Manasquan certainly lost a lot from last year's Group 2 State Champion team that won it's 2nd consecutive Group 2 title. 1st team All-Group 2 Shea Donnelly is playing at Colby, Kayden Clark is playing at LeMoyne, Shannon Heine is a PWO at Mercyhurst, Grace Love is playing at Stevens and Olivia Shaughnessy is a PWO at Loyola MD. However, Manasquan has a history of reloading and for them to do so they will ask for even more from their top returning player. Last year, [player_tooltip player_id='559069' first='Jordyn' last='Hollawell'] was 2nd on the team in scoring, 1st in rebounding and assists and 2nd in steals. She scored in double figures in 12 of their 30 games and will have an opportunity to increase her numbers across the board in her senior season on a team that lost 81% of it's 3-point scoring, 62% of their points and 59% of their rebounding. Along with fellow seniors [player_tooltip player_id='564267' first='Shannon' last='Looney'] and [player_tooltip player_id='559071' first='Logan' last='McCarthy'], juniors [player_tooltip player_id='651511' first='Rose' last='LaTesta'] and [player_tooltip player_id='959102' first='Paige' last='Donnelly'] and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='913917' first='Calista' last='Vowteras'], Manasquan will have plenty of opportunities for Jordyn and her teammates to take on a much bigger role.

2nd Team

[player_tooltip player_id='559133' first='Erin' last='Reid'] - Rumson-Fair Haven

Rumson-Fair Haven battled through a gauntlet of competition in the Shore Conference and finished with a 17-12 record and a runner-up finish in the Central Group 2 sectional to eventual Group 2 Champion Manasquan. Brown commit [player_tooltip player_id='559133' first='Erin' last='Reid'] led the way for Rumson-Fair Haven last season and will do the same in her senior year. She led RFH in points, rebounds, blocks(tie) and steals, was 2nd in assists and 4th in 3-point shooting. She had 3 games of 20+ points and 8 double doubles as a junior. She is 235 points away from 1,000 for her career and she easily top that this year. With a few key pieces gone from last year's team, there will be a lot put on Erin's capable shoulders.

[player_tooltip player_id='835864' first='Emma' last='Harris'] - Haddon Heights

As a sophomore, Emma led Haddon Heights to a 22-9 record and a spot in the South Group 2 championship game where they fell to sectional champ Middle Township. Emma backed up a 428 point and 64 3-pointer freshman season with a 491 point and 52 3-pointer sophomore campaign. She enters her junior year just 81 points shy of 1,000 for her career. Last season she scored in double figures in 24 of 31 games, she had 9 games of 20+ points and a career high of 38 in a 2 point win over Manchester Township in the sectional semifinal. Haddon Heights returns 4 of their top 5 scorers from last year's team. Emma will team with junior Allie Agin, senior Brielle Connor and junior Serenity Matthews to chase a sectional title.

[player_tooltip player_id='835485' first='Addison' last='Keenan'] - Caldwell

Last season, Caldwell rode sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='835485' first='Addison' last='Keenan'] to a 26-4 record and spot in the North 2 Group 2 sectional final where they fell to Group 2 runner-up Madison. In each of her 1st two seasons Addison has led the team in scoring, 3-pointers and steals. She enters her junior season 100 points shy of 1,000 for her career. As a sophomore she scored in double figures in 28 of their 30 games. She scored 20+ points in 16 games and had 30+ points twice including a career high 31 against Payne Tech. This roster had no seniors last season so their are big expectations for Caldwell entering the 2025-26 season. Addison, along with senior [player_tooltip player_id='671407' first='Tea' last='Fiore'] (194 points shy of 1,000 for her career) and sophomores Fallon Fiore, [player_tooltip player_id='1314195' first='Grace' last='Hodgson'], [player_tooltip player_id='1201447' first='Elena' last='Kearns'] and Aaliyah Rodriguez have what it takes to win the section and make a run at the Group 2 championship.

3rd Team

[player_tooltip player_id='601348' first='Mia' last='Vergel De Dios'] - Glen Rock

The 2024-25 season brought Glen Rock it's first sectional title since 2013 and a 26-5 record. The leader of this crew was Swarthmore commit [player_tooltip player_id='601348' first='Mia' last='Vergel De Dios']. Mia led her team in scoring and assists and was 2nd in 3 -pointers, rebounds and steals. She scored in double figures in 18 of 31 games with a season high of 19 against Pompton Lakes and had one double double. She enters her senior season just 232 points shy of 1,000 for her career and joins a team that lost only senior PG and defensive stopper Emily McKegney from last year's squad. The supporting cast is strong with seniors [player_tooltip player_id='871420' first='Abby' last='Grove'] (Emory commit) and Anna Heuss, juniors Isabella Flaccavento and Ana Landreau and sophomore Madison Wise. This Glen Rock team should enter the season as the favorite to take home the Group 2 title.

[player_tooltip player_id='668417' first='Madeline' last='Nolan'] - Manchester Township

Manchester Township was 19-9 last season and, as a #7 seed, took down #2 Cinnaminson before falling to #3 Haddon Heights in the South Group 2 semifinals. The leader of this crew was sophomore Madison Nolan who led her team in scoring, 3-pointers, blocks and steals and was 2nd in assists. She scored in double figures in 22 of their 28 games. She had 7 games of 20+ points including tying a career high with 26 in a 5 point win over Central Regional. She enters her junior season 275 points shy of 1,000 for her career. Manchester Township brings back their top 4 scorers from last season. Along with Madeline, senior [player_tooltip player_id='601515' first='Marisiya' last='Goins'] and sophomores Savannah Jackson and [player_tooltip player_id='1194606' first='Jesse' last='Sarana'] will form the core four of a team looking to knock off Middle Township and Haddon Heights in the South Group 2 section.
