Nyla is a nice little guard who does a variety of things on the floor. She can act as a traditional point guard, get gaps, and distribute, but she's also an accurate perimeter shooter who can find shots using teammates' screens. After seeing limited action in 19 games a year ago, I'd look for her to be a much bigger part of the rotation as a Junior, especially if they can find her opportunities to put pressure on opposing defenses from outside.

Delaney is one of two Maconaquah players to make the watch list this time around. She is a fairly athletic, multisport kid who made a significant jump from her rookie year to her Sophomore year for the Lady Braves. After averaging 11.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game, while also burying an impressive 69 3-pointers at a 35% rate, look for her to continue expanding her game and increasing her productivity as a seasoned Junior.

I was able to see Grace over the Summer, and she is a very intriguing prospect who could be primed for a big year in terms of her recruitment. She has nice length, a wiry-strong frame, and she's a good athlete in most directions. She is an effective shooter, she can handle it a little as well, and she plays with a motor & toughness. I really think she could have a breakout year for South Knox as well, considering some 2025 graduation losses.

Henley is another intriguing guard, but she hails from Western Indiana. She has really nice length, a fluid athleticism to her, and she can perform a variety of roles for her team. She is a capable outside shooter, but she's a much better attacker, and she creates for herself and teammates. In her two years of starting Varsity, she has amassed nearly 500 points, plus she has used her length and athleticism to be an effective defender.

Gina is a strong, tough-nosed guard, with broad shoulders and nice length. Last year as a Sophomore, she was at or near the top in most stat categories, averaging 14.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 3.6 steals per game for the Twisters. She does a nice job of getting downhill and either finishing or finding open teammates, plus she anticipates and defends well. Gina also made 76 3-pointers while shooting 39% from long range.

I remember first seeing Laney as an incoming Freshman and thinking how much potential she showed at that time. Fast forward to now, and she has grown several inches, gotten noticeably stronger, and she's much more dynamic on the court. She put together a nice Sophomore year, averaging 9.0 points per game, but I think she could be in the mid to high teens as a Junior. She's also a capable and improving perimeter shooter.

Khloee was one of the better small school scorers in the entire state as a Sophomore, averaging 17.4 points per game last year. She has an athletic frame, nice length, plus she's a multisport kid who also does well in softball. On the basketball court, she has the skill and ability to be a more natural point guard, and she puts a lot of pressure on defenses when she attacks. But she scores it at such a high rate, I'd want to get her open more.

Masen is another prospect who had a really nice Sophomore year. In her second season, she averaged 14.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 3.1 steals per game for Perry Central. She is more of an athletic attacker than a shooter, but she can knock down an occasional outside jumper. She's a hard worker, she defends with effort as well, and she posts good rebounding numbers from the perimeter for a guard.
