ELV8 Super 32 Senior Showcase Rising Stars

The ELV8 Super 32 Senior Showcase was an opportunity for several Seniors around the state of Arizona to measure themselves against some of the best players in a competitive platform. The following players have definitely showed they belong and will make a major impact on their respective teams throughout this upcoming High School season.    [player_tooltip player_id='755766' first='Isabella' last='Motter'] has definitely elevated her stock over the last 6 months. She has performed well in Showcase events, and she has continued to work on her individual skill level to prepare herself for the next level. She has recently picked up a couple college scholarship offers to prove it. She will play forward in my opinion on the next level. She is a very good defender and rebounder. She has good size and strength and can be a force in the paint. Look for Motter to have a breakout season and help get her team into a deep Playoff run in 2025/26.     Alyson Hopkins turned in a nice performance at the Showcase and she is definitely a player to watch as perennial 2A powerhouse San Carlos looks to make a run at the State Title in 2025/26. Alyson is an excellent shooter. She has very good range on her shot and she can score off the dribble or catch and shoot. She is a good defender that can defend multiple positions. She is good in transition and she can hit shots in pressure situations. This could be a huge year for Hopkins.     Ryleigh Winn is a player on the rise in Southern Arizona. She played a lot last year for a very good Mica Mt. team, and this year she could be the difference that the Thunderbolts need to reach another level. She can be a huge factor in the paint. She has excellent size and length, but she is also a fierce competitor. She can defend post players or forwards, and she can play post on offense as well. She is a good shooter and ball handler. She runs the floor well, and she is good in transition. If she continues to improve her game, she could be a diamond in the rough for the Thunderbolts. I feel Ryleigh will have a breakout season this year and this could be the year Mica Mt. gets to a State title.     Solana Celaya is another rising star in Southern Arizona. She played well at the Showcase and she showed that she can compete with some of the state's best talent. She is an excellent rebounder for a guard. She positions herself well, and she competes on the boards both offensively and defensively. She can finish well on offense rebounds under the hoop. She is a good shooter, and she handles the ball well under pressure. She can defend multiple positions, especially in the paint. I think she has a chance to play on the next level if she continues to improve her game.     [player_tooltip player_id='1140903' first='Chayil' last='Combs'] turned in an outstanding performance at the Showcase especially on the offensive end of the floor. She really shot the ball well especially from 3 point range. She was confident and aggressive throughout the evening, and the moment was not too big for her. She is a terrific ball handler, and she showed multiple ways to get to her offensive shots. She also played well defensively. Chayil caught the eye of some college coaches that were in attendance and she will definitely play on the next level.     [player_tooltip player_id='1140905' first='Ariana' last='Gamillo'] is another one of the best kept secrets in Southern Arizona. She is primed for a huge Senior season. Gamillo is a seasoned veteran that has a very high basketball IQ. She is a leader on the floor that is a fierce competitor. She has a very nice offensive game especially in the paint. She also shot the ball well from 3 point range in the Showcase. She is a tough defender that can defend forwards or guards, and she is an excellent rebounder because of her height and length. I see her playing the shooting guard position on the next level but she can play forward as well. Look for Gamillo to have a breakout season for Walden Grove and help propel them to a deep Playoff run.
