BREAKOUT CANDIDATE
[player_tooltip player_id='992529' first='Brynlee' last='Hamblin'], 2027, 6-1 PF, Monrovia H.S.
- Brynlee spent her first two years of high school playing at Martinsville, and last season she averaged 4.3 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. With her move to Class 2A Monrovia, especially with the young talent they have around the perimeter, she could find herself in an advantageous position. She is long, athletic/bouncy, and she has nice mid-post skill. She could average nearly a double-double for the Bulldogs this season.

ON THE RISE
[player_tooltip player_id='909349' first='Elyssa' last='Nichols'], 2027, 6-0 PF/C, Pike H.S.
- I've been a big fan of Elyssa's over the last couple of years, but she is in a loaded frontcourt at Pike. This year, however, she could be a much bigger contributor. She is noticeably stronger, more instinctual with the ball around the paint, and she has talent. She plays hard and likes to create some physicality, but she can also knock down the mid-range jumper. If that's not enough, she's a paint protector too.

TOP NEWCOMER
[player_tooltip player_id='750165' first='Claire' last='Brock'], 2027, 6-1 PF, Brownstown Central H.S.
- Claire isn't necessarily "new" to the Lady Braves, but she opted to sit out last season. With her return, she instantly offers them a frontcourt presence other teams will have to match up against. Claire is fundamental, hard-working, and as "sneaky" as it gets for a power forward. She scores it through contact and at odd angles, but she also shows some touch facing the basket. She's a fearless rebounder as well.
