The Spring has arrived, and it's time for us to update the prospect rankings in all four graduating classes currently enrolled in high school. For the Class of 2027, this is a huge time in their careers, as it's the last time they will play a grassroots season in front of college coaches. The overall list (rankings & watch list included) has expanded from 185 total prospects to 200 total prospects. With that said, below is a look at all of the small forward prospects in the Class of 2027. Below the rankings chart are some quick updates on a handful of uncommitted prospects.

Etta greatly improved her stock as a recruit after putting together a fantastic Junior season for the Lady Panthers. She had always been more of a role player in the past, but this year, she stepped up to be their "#2" to [player_tooltip player_id='486508' first='Mollie' last='Ernstes'], whether that was helping to initiate the offense or looking for offense herself, plus she is a tough-nosed defender with a great motor. She is just one of those quiet, business-like players who goes out and does her job until there is no time left on the clock. One of the elite small college programs could get a good one in her.

Mia is one of those under-the-radar Southwestern Indiana prospects who could have a huge Spring & Summer. She has all of the measurables coaches like...she possesses length, she's a nice North/South athlete, and she has shooting touch. She hasn't played much outside of her high school environment, but she definitely has the tools to succeed. She can play a bit of a point forward role, too, but I feel like she's better using screens to get herself open. She also plays hard, she'll use her length defensively, and she has a nice motor and a quiet toughness to her game.

Jazlyn has always flashed the potential to be a really nice wing recruit, so this could be a big Spring/Summer for her. She is extremely long, fluid/smooth, and when she can get herself set and find rhythm, she is a knockdown shooter. I really like her upside offensively, and she has played some key minutes at times for a very good, very deep Pike team. I also think when she defends with urgency, she has the length and athleticism to bother smaller guards, but with the height to defend bigger guards and most wings. She could draw a lot of interest this grassroots season.

Taylee is yet another wing prospect who I feel like some of the better small colleges in the Midwest would appreciate. She is a long, athletic, versatile player who can play anywhere from the mid-post to the perimeter, but she also plays with a really nice motor. She is an effective rebounder who pursues caroms outside of her area, and she is aggressive attacking the basket with put-backs or drives from the perimeter. She has some ball skill and a little touch, plus she is an outstanding defender who plays with versatility at that end of the floor as well.
