The Spring has arrived, and it's time for us to update the prospect rankings in all four graduating classes currently enrolled in high school. For the Class of 2027, this is a huge time in their careers, as it's the last time they will play a grassroots season in front of college coaches. The overall list (rankings & watch list included) has expanded from 185 total prospects to 200 total prospects. With that said, below is a look at all of the shooting guard prospects in the Class of 2027. Below the rankings chart are some quick updates on a handful of uncommitted prospects.

Carlee put together an outstanding season for Northview in 2025-2026, but I feel like her play began to elevate throughout the grassroots season in 2025. She is an athletic, versatile guard, who can play a multitude of roles for her team(s). She has the ability to handle it in transition and initiate the offense, plus she is a nice multilevel scorer. She can absorb contact and get to the rim, she can knock down an open rhythm jumper, plus she has a solid mid-range game. I feel like she has some similarities to 2026 Rensselaer Central grad-to-be [player_tooltip player_id='492323' first='Kamri' last='Rowland'].

Alexis is another Class of 2027 guard who really upped her game during this Winter. She averaged a career-best 17.4 points per game, plus she improved her field goal shooting and 3-point shooting at the same time. She has really nice length, some speed & quickness, and she has learned how to absorb contact better each season. She was more of a combo guard in the past, but with classmate [player_tooltip player_id='1818898' first='Jaci' last='Meece'] playing so well on the ball, it has allowed Alexis the opportunity to find space easier on the wings.

Mackenzie is a really nice combination of an intense, energetic player, and a quick, fast, and explosive athlete. She plays 100 mph in all directions, and she is always around the ball trying to make plays. This Winter, she seems to have played with a bit more control, she increased her scoring average by a couple of points (from 9.0 to 11.8), she shot it better from the field, and she found teammates on many more occasions (5.0 apg). Her speed is her best weapon, so understanding how to change speeds and pick her spots could very well become her best weapon moving forward.

Sadey has turned herself into a really nice small college prospect who can "fit" many types of environments. She has an athletic frame, some length, and she's a nice North/South attacker. In fact, her best attribute is attacking the basket and finishing through contact. She does have a solid midrange game as well, but she'll need to continue adding a consistent 3-point shot. She plays hard, defends with effort, rebounds her position well, and does a lot of the "little things" other girls don't want to do. I think she could be a very nice "culture" type of kid for a small college program.
