There has been some high school player movement since last basketball season.

From what I'm about to share, a lot of the movement was in District 15AAAA.

In last season's District Tournament, these schools finished in the following order with Bartlett going on to the State Tournament.

It's going to be interesting to watch these players with their new teams and the impact they make.

Houston

Houston not only has new players but also has a new Head Coach, Kevin Caraway, moving up from leading the middle school program.

(Arlington to Houston) Rebounding Post. Kallie led Arlington in rebounds last season with 10 per game. She was second in scoring with over 13 points. Rebounding is an area Houston will definitely need filling. They lost almost 20 boards a game from 3 graduating seniors.

Hutchison

Hutchison doesn't play in 15AAA. They are DII-AA. However, these two players are likely to make an impact to the program this season.

(Rossville Christian Academy to Hutchison) Energetic Forward. As a Freshman for Rossville, Mikaila was second in rebounding with almost 4 per game. She is going to bring energy, rebounding, and shot blocking to Hutchison. She can score on the block and beyond. I wouldn't be surprised to see her shoot from the 3 in Hutchison's system.

(Millington to Hutchison) Quick PG. Alissa led Millington in assists last season with 2 assists per game and added almost 6 points. Hutchison lost a talented point guard to graduation. Alissa will assist with replacing those point guard duties and bring her 3 point shooting to the team.
