919 Area Fall Standouts from the Class of 2027

As fall ball ramps up I have really enjoyed the amazing talent across the Triangle. The energy and the level of competition has been impressive, especially among the Class of 2028. Here are a few names to keep an eye on as this group continues to make some noise heading into the season.    Yancey is a confident guard who plays with great pace and control.At 5'8 she uses her size and strength to finish through contact while also hitting from deep.She brings energy and toughness making her presence felt on both ends of the floor. Already catching colleges attention Olivia is a key prospect to watch in the 919 area.     Lewis is a small forward who consistently impacts the game on both ends of the floor. At 6'0” she uses her length and physicality to rebound and can knock down midrange jumpers and stretch the floor when needed.Her motor, rebounding presence and improving offensive makes her a key piece for Leesville Road and a name to know in the 919 area.     Barnes is a lightning quick guard who plays with confidence. At 5'5” she uses her speed to attack downhill and create scoring opportunities for her teammates. On defense Barnes competes with energy and applies pressure on the perimeter. Her toughness and court awareness make her a rising guard to watch in the 919 area     Allen is an interior presence who makes an immediate impact with her size, strength, and energy around the rim. At 6'1”, she commands attention in the paint, finishes well and cleans the glass on both ends. Her ability to control the paint and anchor a defense makes her one front court player in the 919 area to keep an eye on.      Brown is a forward who can score from anywhere on the floor. At 6'1 Brown has elite handles and can create space to get down hill and can finish in the mid range. On the defense end Brown uses her athleticism to guard multiple positions and disrupt passing lanes. Her scoring ability, playmaking and competitiveness make her a rising force in the 919 area.     Dunn is an athletic and versatile wing who brings energy to ends of the court. At 5'9” she uses her length and athleticism to rebound, defend multiple positions and finish in transition. Her ability to adapt makes her a reliable two-way contributor. Dunn's toughness and all around game continue to elevate her stock in the 919 area.     French is a skilled guard who can impact the game on both ends of the floor. At 5'10” with a long build she can push in transition with a quick first step and create scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates. Her combination of size, playmaking and leadership makes her standout in the 919 area.     Collins dynamic shooting guard who can create from anywhere on the floor. At 5'8” she attacks downhill and stretches the defense with her perimeter shooting. On defense she competes with energy and uses her quickness to disrupt passing lanes. Her competitiveness makes her a rising standout in the 919 area.     Masella is a 5'11” small forward with great size and a versatile skill set. Offensively she can score inside, grab offensive rebounds and stretch the floor with midrange or three point shooting. Defensively, she's active and competes hard. Masella has the potential to be a matchup problem in the 919 area and a key contributor for Jordan High School.     Herndon is a 5'10” SF with solid length and athleticism who can impact the game in multiple ways. She attacks the rim with energy, can knock down midrange jumpers. Defensively Herndon uses her length to disrupt offenses and create energy. Herndon has the tools to be a versatile and valuable player in the 919 area.     McClain at 5'9” plays much bigger than her size. She is quick and fearless and attacks downhill in transition and can score at all three levels. On defense McClain competes on every possession guarding multiple positions with grit and relentless effort. Her skill, speed and competitive fire make her one of the most exciting rising forwards in the 919 area.     Jones is an explosive forward who impacts the game from the first tip. She attacks the rim with and finishes through contact with ease. She is great in transition and can find her teammates and create her own shot. Jones will surely be one to watch in the 919 area.     Proaño is a 5'10” shooting guard and a lethal three point shooter with deep range and the ability to score at all three levels. She's a confident scorer who spaces the floor well and constantly puts pressure on defenses. Proaño is a high energy player who elevates the play of those around her. She will continue to rise in the class of 2027 and standout in the 919 area.     Davis is a quick and confident guard who sets the tone with her pace and energy. At 5'7” she is effective in transition and can create scoring opportunities for both herself and her teammates.Davis also has a strong handle and great court vision which is shown through her reads and tempo.Her competitiveness and leadership make her a key piece for SE Raleigh and a guard to keep on the radar in the 919 area.     Kozloff is a smooth and versatile guard who can impact the game in multiple ways. At 5'8” she is quick and can score on all three levels. Defensively she uses her quickness and anticipation to stay in passing lanes and create turnovers. Kozloff will continue to rise as a key contributor for Corinth Holders and for the class of 2027.
