The 2027 Class in Arizona is filled with outstanding players from all corners of the State. Many of them will have a significant impact on their team's success this season. Here are some of the Juniors in Arizona to keep an eye on as we approach the start of the season.

Kenzie Lewis is somewhat under the radar right now, but that will change this season as Campo Verde has emerged as a Title contender with the addition of a couple high profile players. Kenzie is a versatile combo guard that is very good in transition. She is an excellent passer and has great court vision. She is an excellent shooter especially off the dribble in mid-range and in the key. She is a floor general on the court that communicates very well with her teammates, and is a solid defender. Kenzie is a high energy player that has a high basketball IQ and will be an integral part of Campo Verde's run at a State Title.

Arryanna Kollasch had a breakout season last year as a Sophomore. She played significant minutes for powerhouse Salpointe, and she will no doubt be a significant part of their roster heading into 2025/26. She can play both forward spots, but I see her as a power forward on the next level because of her size and strength, and her ability to play defense and rebound. She is a good mid range shooter and she is skilled offensively in the paint. Kollasch will be a much more dominant player for the Lancers this year and will be a key player as they look to return to a State Final.

[player_tooltip player_id='663051' first='Cadence' last='Murdough'] has been a vital part of Higley's basketball team since she arrived as a Freshman two years ago. This year brings high expectations not only for her but the team. The Knights have a solid roster and they have added some key transfers. Murdough will be the key. She has the chance to be a dominant player this season especially inside. She is a skilled offensive player and she can score on all 3 levels. She is a good ball handler for a Forward, and she is excellent in transition. Look for Higley to make a deep Playoff run this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='749674' first='Braya' last='Neal-Tiffany'] is another player that is somewhat under the radar that is going to explode onto the scene in the next two years. The All Region Player is one of the best point guards in the state. She is an excellent ball handler that really sees the floor well and is deadly in transition. She is an excellent shooter either with the catch and shoot or off the dribble. She is excellent in pressure situations and is a poised leader. Look for Neal-Tiffany to make a strong run to get her team back to the State Title game.

Maila Woodberry is the prototype point guard that can take over games especially in crunch time. She is an excellent ball handler and is dynamic in transition. She is a 3 level scorer that will take what the defense dictates to her and she is a terrific passer. She has tremendous leadership and poise in pressure situations and she can be a shut down defender. Look for Woodberry to help her team make a run at a State Title in the next two years.
