Team Preseason Coverage- Unioto

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I recall about 4 years ago watching Unioto at a high school event in June. Several of the players were young- but you'd never know it! Fast forward to 2025, &amp; these young ladies have tasted a whole lot of wins and success with hard work and unselfish play! Last season, Mya Hamilton- who graduated in May, earned All-Ohio 2nd Team, averaged 19 ppg. and was a key defender and ball handler. They finished with a 21-5 overall record, and won their conference with a perfect 14-0! She averaged just over 25 ppg. last season, along with 8.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 3.6 steals. She flat out dominates both ends of the court. This young lady will challenge anyone 1v1 to the bucket! Terrific handles, keeps the ball secure and close, and when she makes her cross over move to the basket- she's gonna score! She has the length and agility to do great things inside. I like her footwork and her awareness when the ball is thrown inside to her. She is very capable of averaging a double-double.
