I attended the Expo up in Appleton, Wisconsin. I'll begin going through a handful of teams that I watched play today and highlighting the players I observed throughout the morning and early afternoon. I thought it was a productive day, seeing some players from around the state, and I found it to be my most enjoyable Expo since I first attended the event in 2021. Today, we'll look at Team Seven and discuss the players from that unit.

The Wisconsin Lutheran guard is a player who has impressed me in the AAU circuit over the last few years. She is a talented spot shooter who can space the floor and knock down shots from beyond the three-point line. Her ability to defend on the perimeter will translate to the next level if she chooses to continue her playing career. I also like her ability to handle the ball and take care of it on the perimeter. She also brings an excellent motor to the floor. Walz will be a player who helps her team to win games at a high level in her final few years in high school. There is a lot to like in what she brings to the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='885270' first='Aubri' last='Elmore']

I saw Elmore play towards the end of her first season of high school basketball, and she was playing through an injury. She proved she could handle the ball on the perimeter and create space from her primary defender. She has the skill set to make things happen with the ball in her hands and beat her initial defender off the dribble. I've also liked her poise that she brings to the lead guard spot. I also feel that she has another level to reach as she earns more responsibility at the high school level with Lake Country Lutheran.

[player_tooltip player_id='883195' first='Allison' last='Kojo']

I love the physical presence that Kojo brings to the floor and how well she uses her body around the basket. She plays as a back-to-the-basket player who does solid work around the basket. She is also willing to play around the basket and rebound at a high level. She played behind her sister for a few seasons, but she has a chance to make the five spot at Milton her own. Kojo will be a player who may determine the ceiling for her Red Hawks group in this coming winter season, and I'm eager to see how she performs.
