The class of 2029 watchlist went live today, and there are a handful of players who I'd like to highlight. There will be players who surprise me throughout the season that I don't know heading into the season and have standout campaigns in the 25-26 season. Let's discuss eight of the players I'm eager to see this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1276313' first='Allison' last='Charbonneau']

The McFarland guard is an athletic kid who will create mismatches all over the floor. She has the foot speed to beat her initial defender and make plays downhill, putting pressure on the basket. Charbonneau also has the athletic tools to be an excellent defender. She has the foot speed to stay in front of her defensive assignment and the length to get her hands on the ball in the passing lanes and help jumpstart her team's transition offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='874404' first='Ava' last='Cumicek']

The Notre Dame newcomer has the tools to be a player who can carve out a role for herself early in the high school season. Cumicek can handle the ball under pressure and get her teammates involved offensively. I also think she is a kid who can create with the ball in her hands and make something happen for herself or one of her teammates. Everyone whom I've talked to about her has been high on her, and they are people whom I trust implicitly. I'm eager to see what she can do this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1234631' first='Crimson' last='Hansen']

The Mauston guard is an excellent athlete who showed flashes of potential this summer with [program_tooltip program_id='1230720' first='Team' last='Herro']. Hansen is a player who can attack the basket and use her speed to beat defenders to the rim and finish in the paint. I also loved her confidence on both ends of the floor and the aggression she has to make things happen at any point in time. She is a player who can step in on day one and find ways to help her team win games.

[player_tooltip player_id='1236090' first='Elly' last='Gardner']

The Columbus Catholic guard is a skilled kid who played up in 15u EYBL last summer with Team Prime Nation. Gardner showed positive flashes over the summer, scored from all three levels at times, and was a threat to make things happen with the ball in her hands. She showed enough to make me believe she will be one of the top kids in D5 this winter and help her team potentially make a run in the postseason.
