We're only two weeks in, and about 3-5 games deep for the majority of teams in Illinois. However, there have already been several breakout performances from some players up until this point.

[player_tooltip player_id='1418614' first='Lilly' last='Elston'] - Elston has been on a tear since the start of this season. She's racked up offers from multiple divisions, and when you see how she impacts the game, you understand why. She has such a smooth jumper, and she utilizes her length and size to be heavy on the boards as well. Will see a major jump on the next rankings update.

[player_tooltip player_id='974037' first='Evelyn' last='Freundt'] - Huntley is known to have standout players at the guard position, and they definitely have another one in Evie. She is a certified athlete, and skill wise, she is showing signs of major upside. Scoring wise, she's confident and able from every angle. Defensively, she has energy and hustle, and her length will help her guard the perimeter as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='901833' first='Avani' last='Williams'] - Offensively, we all know what Avani is capable of, and that's being a legitimate threat from all levels on the court. However, her defense has taken another step up, and when you become a legit two-way player, it is a scary sight to match up against. She is on track to have an all-state type of season.

[player_tooltip player_id='864663' first='Maeve' last='Savage'] - Savage has been one of the more versatile players in the state and her class, and she has started off this season letting it be known that she will put her team in a position to win in every game. She has a collegiate frame and also plays with a strong amount of aggression, which will force defenders to work from start to finish when they're guarding.

[player_tooltip player_id='884801' first='Mia' last='Gage'] - Gage has had one hell of a debut for her freshman season. She's logged double digits in every game she's played, and has even had some high number rebounding games to go with. I could definitely see Gage in all conference talks by the end of the season, if she keeps this up.

[player_tooltip player_id='911247' first='Summer' last='Toussaint'] - Toussaint came into this season off a hot summer, and she hasn't slowed down. She's known for her ability to score at a high level, and when she gets going, it is hard to slow her down. She's an aggressive guard who can seamlessly switch from a scorer to a playmaker, and the way she can control a game when doing so is something to see. I wouldn't be shocked to see a high number double-double this season.

We're only two weeks in, and about 3-5 games deep for the majority of teams in Illinois. However, there have already been several breakout performances from some players up until this point.
