The class of 2027 rankings have been updated. Today, we'll look at the top ten players in two separate articles, and over the weekend, we will talk about some of the stock risers and new additions to the top 100 kids in the class. Over the next week, we will release the updated rankings for the class of 2028 and the watchlist for the class of 2029.

[player_tooltip player_id='751244' first='Avalyn' last='Albrecht']

The Poynette native is a player who I think has higher levels to reach in college. Albrecht is a talented forward who can defend around the basket at a high level. She is a competitive player who takes every possession seriously on both ends of the court. Albrecht has developed a solid back-to-the-basket game, she can stretch the floor on the perimeter, and I've always been intrigued with her as a passer. She will continue her playing career at UW-Green Bay in the Horizon League.

[player_tooltip player_id='533074' first='Kardyn' last='Peppler']

Peppler has contributed to winning anywhere she has played. She comes from a successful basketball family and has helped keep Hortonville among the top teams in the Fox Valley Association. Peppler is a skilled ball handler who can play through traffic, get to the basket, and finish with either hand around the rim. She's an ambidexterous finisher who may be more confident finishing with her left hand. [player_tooltip player_id='533074' first='Kardyn' last='Peppler'] will play one season of college basketball with her sister, Kallie, at UW-Green Bay in the Horizon League.

[player_tooltip player_id='751276' first='Olivia' last='LaBlanc']

The Hudson native has barely played basketball in the last two seasons, and I understand that at some point, we have to see it from her. However, after watching her play four games, it's impossible to underestimate the impact she has on the Raiders. LaBlanc is a physical wing who can attack off the dribble, work with her back to the basket, shoot from the three-point line, and pass at a high level. Some coaches at the next level may get scared off because of her injury history, but I believe that if she were healthy these last two seasons, she could be one of the top players in the state regardless of class, and personally, I hope we see a full season of what she can do.

[player_tooltip player_id='751281' first='Rita' last='Kuepper']

The Hartford guard has played a role for an excellent Orioles program since she arrived for the 2023-24 season. Kuepper is a player who makes everything look easy and is never flustered by who she plays against. Kuepper walked into a State Semifinal game and went on an incredible run to begin the second half of that game. Since then, she's continued to improve on both ends of the court and could be the premier player in the North Shore Conference this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='914910' first='Addison' last='Schmidt']

The Rice Lake forward has developed into one of the top rebounders since I began covering Wisconsin girls' basketball. There may not be an official stat for it out there, but I'd venture to guess Schmidt is among the best offensive rebounders and has the most second-chance points of anyone in the state in her time with the Warriors. She has improved her back-to-the-basket game and may be the most physical interior presence in the state. Schmidt will play basketball and volleyball at the next level at UW-Green Bay in the Horizon League.
