Miss Nebraska Basketball is a prestigious award given out to the best player in the State throughout their season. This Winter we have a handful of prospects that should be in consideration for this award.

Here are a few of those players:

Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!

[player_tooltip player_id='747368' first='Kylee' last='Paben'] -

[player_tooltip player_id='747368' first='Kylee' last='Paben'] will be in the top dawg in this conversation to start the high school season. The Minnesota WBB commit is a lethal under the basket as a scorer, rebounder, and defender. She has made her mark as a producer from year's now and this time around it'll be her team as they look to make some noise coming off of a Class A State Title. If Paben plays her game and Millard West does somewhat well, she should be a top contender in this conversation for the amount of production she brings to the floor. She is truly the best player that this state has to offer walking into this Winter season so if she does her thing, she should be fine at the end of the day.

[player_tooltip player_id='756006' first='Ani' last='Leu'] -

[player_tooltip player_id='756006' first='Ani' last='Leu'] will be in this conversation not only because of her own personal stats but because her team will be very good with a favorable shot at a State Title for their Class level. Leu, the UNO commit, is going to do her thing and post some impressive stat lines over the next six months, along with that her team should win a lot so when you pair that together, it's somewhat common sense that Leu will be in this conversation. I don't think this year is as clear cut as year's past for a winner so there are going to be a few players who have a real shot at this award and I think this is one of those players. How far she is able to take her team will help within her argument for this award but I'm sure the only thing on her mind for the time being is putting together a fun, Senior campaign.

[player_tooltip player_id='757558' first='Halle' last='Dolliver'] -

Coming back off of an injury is never easy as a high school athlete. Especially off of a leg injury when you are a female competitor. It seems like those situations are always really tough for anyone who is involved but sometimes we have a prospect come back stronger than they were before and that's what we have here with [player_tooltip player_id='757558' first='Halle' last='Dolliver']. Dolliver is back and better than ever. To prove it, she just helped her team make the State Volleyball Tournament while being one of their more dominating forces overall so I can't wait to see how she is going as it pertains to this sport of Basketball on the hardwood. With the energy and athletic ability she has, Dolliver is walking double-double in points-rebounds. She is handful to guard for an entire game because she never gets tired and she seems to be getting better with experience. I'm not sure if Dolliver will be able to win this award but she should 100% be in the conversation.

[player_tooltip player_id='747245' first='Addison' last='Medeck'] -

A prospect from a younger grade level that should also be in this conversation because of her pure dominance is [player_tooltip player_id='747245' first='Addison' last='Medeck'] of PLVS High School. Medeck is a monster underneath on both sides of the floor. She is a stable rebounding force, scoring threat, while also being someone that can protect the lane at a high rate for long periods of time. When she has her back to the basket and some time, she is deadly underneath and that's been the case for a few year's now. I'm not sure how PLVS will do as a whole this year but Medeck will be there producing at high rates whenever she can be. That production will standout above most and that's why she will come up in this award's conversations in the very end.

KJ Pinchon -

There is a lot of hype being built around KJ Pinchon and what she might be able to bring to the floor this Winter. Pinchon comes to us as a transfer from Kansas and she is already rated Top Five in her 2026 Class because of her skill/athletic ability. This season at Lincoln North Star this isa group that should be favored to win their Class' State Title by the end of the year. If they can come close to that and Pinchon is as productive as we think she will be, then she is going to be a top candidate in this discuss. She will have to be at that point. This is an individual that holds multiple D1 offers at this time so I'm sure if she makes easy work of this State, she will also have some more individuals contacting her on that front as well. She just needs to do her thing and the rest could be history!
