Now that rankings content is done for now, we can look forward to the season tipping off this coming Tuesday. This weekend, I'd like to highlight a handful of players whom I'll be keeping tabs on throughout the 2025-26 season for various reasons. On Monday, I'll have a full day devoted to my predictions for the 2025-26 season, and I'll be open to being wrong on multiple occasions this season.

The Middleton guard will step into a situation where she could earn a significant role when the Cardinals open the season this coming week. She is a talented guard who can play in traffic and find ways to create space to make things happen off the dribble. Krueger wants to be perfect every time down the floor, and that will be a blessing and a curse as she improves over the next four years because nobody will be harder on her than herself. She has all the tools to succeed in the Big Eight, and I'm eager to see how she starts her high school career.

[player_tooltip player_id='1229695' first='Ndey' last='Cham']

The La Follette forward will be an integral aspect of what the Lancers will do this season. Cham is a player who can play alongside a 6'2 uber-talented wing who will play possessions on the perimeter and will rebound the ball on both ends of the floor. She plays hard in her minutes and will be a player who can help her team earn extra possessions in a variety of ways.

[player_tooltip player_id='1220853' first='Paige' last='Lisowski']

The Whitehall guard had an impressive first season in high school and helped her team compete at a high level this past winter. Lisowksi will be someone who will have the responsibility of controlling her team's offense and making things happen off the dribble for herself and her teammates. She has shown the ability to lead her team to success in their conference, and I plan on carving out some time to see her play in person this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='892938' first='Kinsley' last='Venden']

The Columbus guard is a player who has more responsibility to be an offensive force than most players her age. However, I was impressed with how much she improved over the summer. She seemed like a more efficient version of herself, and she had more of an operation to what she does offensively. Venden's ability to operate off the dribble is something that could take a step forward this winter.
