<p>Prep Hoops Missouri had the opportunity to watch several games from the Bluefish Shootout, which is one of first regular-season showcase events to take place in the state of Missouri. It is hosted by Rolla High School. We had a chance to watch five games from the shootout.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='620693' first='Madison' last='Carvajal'] (Tipton): The 5'7" 2026 guard had a dominant performance at both ends of the court in leading the Cardinals to a victory over Rolla. She scored a game-high 29 points and she was also a big factor on defense with a number of steals. She showcased her speed in the open court as she put constant pressure on the defense with her ability to attack in the lane. Her instincts on defense to anticipate and grab steals are just remarkable. She was also baiting opposing players into making passes, then she would suddenly dart into the lanes with a burst of quickness to get the steal.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='813483' first='Rylee' last='Dodson'] (Rolla): The 5'8" 2027 guard scored a team-high 20 points the victory over Helias. She is a three-level scorer who showed an impressive shot from 3-point range. She knocked down four 3-pointers, including a pair off the dribble. She can attack close outs with shot fakes and nice moves of the bounce into the lane. She finished with a sweet move in the lane and a finish with her opposite-left hand. She has good length and the instincts to impact play on the defensive end.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='509866' first='Elise' last='Murray'] (Willard): A 2026 point guard who is the consummate floor leader for a team. She pushed the pace and she made some passes that were just tremendous. She can also use her speed and her ability to change her pace to keep defenders off balance. She was scoring off of dribble penetration or she was hitting the 3-pointer off the ball screen if the defender went under.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='982968' first='Mya' last='Robinson'] (Troy): A 5'7" 2026 guard who scored a game-high 21 points while also playing tenacious ball-hawking defense on the other end of the court. She was slicing into the lane for drive while also getting buckets in transition. She was also getting into the lane to grab rebounds. She does not take plays off.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='777615' first='Grace' last='Means'] (Troy): The 5'10" 2027 guard scored 15 points in her first regular season game after missing most of last season with an injury. She scored from all three levels as she hit the runner of the lane and then knock down the 3-pointer. She creates well off the dribble and she has the ability to get into those openings in the defense.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='905208' first='Mariah' last='Watkins'] (Rolla): A 5'8" 2026 guard who excels at both ends of the court. She had 12 points, four assists and three steals in a victory over Helias. On defense, she pressures the ball well and she can pick a pocket in the open court with her quick hands. She is also very good at creating offense off the dribble to get a bucket.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1124567' first='Jayli' last='Howell'] (Helias): A 5'7" 2026 guard who did a good job of attacking the basket and seeking contact. She was also very unselfish as she was constantly finding the open teammates. She had a nice one-touch pass that led to a bucket. She was also very active at the top of her team's full-court press with deflections and steals.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='999522' first='Ainsley' last='McWilliams'] (West Plains): The 2028 point guard had 12 points, three assists and three steals against Tipton. She is quick with good handles and she can create off the dribble. She hit a couple of nice 3-pointers. One was off the dribble and the other was when she sprinted the baseline and hit one off the catch with a quick release. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='980379' first='Clara' last='Williams'] (Tipton): The 5'7" 2026 guard finished with 12 points in the victory over West Plains. She used her quickness to get into the lane off of dribble penetration. Her first step was quick and she was able to score on layups and short jumpers. She is also a very unselfish passer.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1243148' first='Anna' last='Dick'] (Tipton): A 2029 point guard who plays an excellent floor game with very good fundamentals. She has good quickness and ball handling ability and she was making very good decisions with the ball. She was penetrating and kicking the ball out to open shooters. She was also good on defense as she could dig down and strip the ball from an opposing post player She has a bright future ahead of her</p>
