Walled Lake Northern Knights

The Knights will have a new look after graduating superstar point guard Amal Younes (Rochester Christian) and productive forward Macie Hunter (GVSU Soccer). Nobody knows their team better than the head coach. We lost a lot last year with the graduation of 4 seniors including our all time leading scorer Amal Younes. But we have 3 returning seniors and the addition of a 4th through transfer who sat out all of last year. The 3 returning seniors have played varsity all 4 years. We also return 2 sophomores who saw a lot of time last year as well. We have a solid core and we will lean heavily on our defense. We have 3 very strong defenders in Savannah Scott, Zeinab Younes and [player_tooltip player_id='734920' first='Taylor' last='Phelps']. We have solid inside play with [player_tooltip player_id='1222042' first='Layne' last='Biggers'] and good shooting surrounding her.
