It's been fun to watch [player_tooltip player_id='884234' first='Da'Nyla' last='Tatum'] this Winter. Tatum has built on the foundation she has placed in the passed as being a twitchy and crafty PG. Tatum moves differently than most others at her age. She is consistently able to get to the bucket for finishes off her nasty cross over and she can also step up to hit a jumper or two as well. Defensively, she can stick with her position and cause chaos in the half court or full court, depending on what is being asked of her. All in all, Tatum is going to be a great player at the D1 level one day. She just needs to keep working but for now she holds onto our #1 spot in this Update.

When you are looking for the best overall leader by example out of this Class, it come to you in the form of [player_tooltip player_id='882863' first='Payton' last='Dolliver'] of Malcolm High School. Dolliver took over the reigns for her sister within this program last Winter while she was injured but now both are back and thriving. When it comes to Payton, she plays smart, simple basketball and that helps her thrive. She is a natural at leading her team with communication, skill, and dedication. There is never a question if Payton is mentally locked in or ready to go. If anything, she is always the most locked in and that speaks to her preparation. There are SEVERAL college programs with interest for Dolliver. I'm not sure where she will end up but she will have options.

[player_tooltip player_id='882862' first='Alivia' last='Kuhn'] of Marian High School has been doing [player_tooltip player_id='882862' first='Alivia' last='Kuhn']-type things so far this season. What does that mean you might ask? It means a whole lot of buckets offensively paired with a whole lotta winning. Kuhn is a coordinated hooper. She is usually labeled one of the best offensive players on the court at any given time with her shooting ability, her midrange jumper, and her ability to get all the way to the bucket off of a single dribble or two. Kuhn is another prospect that is going to be in that conversation for some D1 looks at the end of the day. She just needs to stay consistent and rest will be history.

Jumping into our Top Five for the first time in her young career is [player_tooltip player_id='884656' first='Macie' last='Reiner'] of Bennington High School. Reiner received a lot of love this Spring AAU season because of her witty play. She finished off the year with some great numbers and some collegiate offers as well and now she has used that momentum to help her Bennington team start this Winter season. Reiner is interesting because of her combination of skill and size. She moves effortlessly at 5'10 and she knows how to make smart plays when it gets into crunch time. There is not a doubt in my mind that Reiner will end up as a D1-level commit at the end of the day. Like we said, she is good enough so she should still have some options before everything is said and done.

It's been nice to see [player_tooltip player_id='882864' first='Allie' last='John'] make a strong come-back this Winter following her Freshman campaign. John is a force underneath the hoop but she also possesses some guard-like abilities on both sides of the floor. John can be your dominant post, that controls the lane and gets you double-double in points-rebounds. She can also step out to screen and pop, so that she can hit some open shots from around the outside. When you have someone who can spread the floor like this and they have height, it's noteworthy. I have a feeling that we still have yet to see the best out of John. She can certainly hoop and she is only going to get better with her experience on the Varsity floor. For now though, she rounds out out Top Five at #5.
