Our No. 2 in the rankings is nearing 1B if there is such a thing. Another all-around elite athlete, Dolliver is a player who doesn’t ever seem to need to come off the floor. She put up great numbers in Bryan, TX as her ETG Midwest team went 3-1 last weekend and she stands second on the 16U adidas circuit in rebounds at 9.8 per contest through the opening weekend. Dolliver tallied three double-doubles for ETG in their first four games including a monster 27 point, 15 rebound, five steal effort in a 62-37 win over Central Florida Elite. We truly believe high-major offers will be coming.

Sometimes you have prospects that get it done no matter the circumstances. When you look at Payton Dolliver for ETG Midwest Elite 3SSB , that’s the type of player you are talking about. I’ve had my questions with Dolliver’s production over the years only because of the fact of the competition level she faces during high school ball sometimes but the reality that it doesn’t matter who is in front of her. If she has the ball in her hands with anyone guarding her defensively, she has the advantage. Plain and simple. We have seen Dolliver take over to start off this weekend in Texas. She had one of the best days as a whole for Day 1 of these 3SSB contests throughout all age groups and that says something to anyone paying attention. I’m not sure where she is going to end up but I think at this point there is no doubt that Dolliver will end up on a D1 floor for collegiate ball. That’s just the reality at this point.

As good as they come, we believe Dolliver may start seeing high-major offers this spring playing for ETG. They begin the adidas circuit this weekend in Bryan, Texas. Dolliver was a second-team, all-class selection for her winter work in Malcolm and first-team in Class C-1 as the Clippers advanced to the state title game. Dolliver had season averages of 19.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 3.0 steals. An excellent shooter, she connected on 46% of her shots from the floor and made 36 triples.

We believe Dolliver — the sister to Omaha commit

— is a high major prospect, which may play out this spring and summer. In Lincoln, she was fantastic over three game as the Clippers advanced to the state championship game. Dolliver scored 69 points and grabbed 20 rebounds in tournament with a 30-point, 8-rebound effort in the semifinals against Fort Calhoun. She had season averages of 19.8 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists.

Continually impressed with the sophomore and hope we get to see her in next week’s state tournament. Dolliver is so skilled and at 5-10 she can guard multiple positions while seemingly never needing a break. We believe should could be a high-level Division 1 player with this summer being a big one. A state championship with big sister Halle, an Omaha commit, would be fun, too. In a 45-36 win over the Dusters, she scored 17 points and nabbed 12 rebounds.

In Malcolm’s 47-38 win over Central City, Dolliver had 20 points on 7-for-19 shooting and was 5-for-7 from the free throw line. But, what college coaches should really be watching is the motor with which Dolliver plays. She added seven steals and six rebounds to her tally against the Bison and could seemingly play all 32 minutes without a break. Scored 18 points and had four rebounds, four assists and four steals in last week’s 66-64 loss to Milford, the only loss this year for the Clippers. By the time she graduates we may be looking at a 6-2 point guard with all the tools in her tool box.

of Malcolm High School. Dolliver took over the reigns for her sister within this program last Winter while she was injured but now both are back and thriving. When it comes to Payton, she plays smart, simple basketball and that helps her thrive. She is a natural at leading her team with communication, skill, and dedication. There is never a question if Payton is mentally locked in or ready to go. If anything, she is always the most locked in and that speaks to her preparation. There are SEVERAL college programs with interest for Dolliver. I’m not sure where she will end up but she will have options.

is as a basketball player. It seems like every week that Dolliver is on the road, I have a collegiate coach giving me a call about her leadership and playmaking ability. Not only can Dolliver make things happen when she needs too, she can also be the heart and soul of the team as a top-notch orchestrator. She knows where everyone is suppose to be at all times and she isn’t afraid to hold anyone accountable, especially herself, when things don’t go to plan. Like everyone out of this Class, If Dolliver can continue to get better over the next few years, she should be a D1 committed prospect before you know it.

I’m very excited to see how Malcolm returns this Winter with the addition of

, UNO commit. Last season when Halle was hurt, younger sister Payton came onto the varsity squad and took over. She demonstrated on multiple occasions that she can lead her program by her actions and in production on both ends if need be. This time around though, it’ll all be about balance. Payton could lead things again if confident with Halle right by her side. Which would be really cool and I’m sure a dream come true to both of these individuals. If that is the case, who knows how far they could take things come Playoff time as well.

when she competes. As well as a top notch producer on all floors. Dolliver put together a nice weekend, helping her 15U 3SSB Team to a 5th place finish in the top bracket. During this run, she led her team in PPG with 13.3. Dolliver does the little things. She leads by example ever since she has taken the floor as a Freshman at Malcolm last Fall. She hoops with great energy, always moving and she is versatile. She can move around and produce off the ball at a solid rate if need be. This weekend was a nice showing for this 15U squad. If they stick together for years to come, it could be special.
