2029 Prospects Joining the Top 15

There are many talented prospects on the Watch List, and we expect them to make an immediate difference for their varsity programs this season. With that being said, there were five freshmen we felt confident placing inside the top 15. Here are the prospects making up spots 11-15 in the latest 2029 class rankings update.

Makayla's powerful finishing ability, length, physicality, athleticism, and strength give her a ton of potential as a forward prospect. She can shoot from the perimeter, distribute accurate passes to open teammates, and win rebounding battles inside. Makayla will have a huge role for Country Day this season.

Janiah has the potential to be an elite front-court prospect in this class. She has height, athleticism, and a muscular frame that immediately stand out on the court. Janiah protects the rim, finishes with soft touch around the basket, and adds a rebounding presence to the Belleville lineup.

Niqco is a center prospect whose defense, rebounding, finishing, and length gives Berkley an advantage in the paint. Her shot blocking causes nightmares for opponents and makes scoring easy buckets a challenge. She has good footwork and an extremely high ceiling. Niqco is about to have a huge freshman season for the Bears.

Quinn has an outstanding day at the Freshman Showcase, and she looks like the next great prospect coming up through the Rockford program. Quinn has the length, strength, and quickness to play inside or on the perimeter. She's an effective downhill scorer who finishes through contact, changes directions suddenly using various dribble combinations, and sees the floor. Quinn is a pick-pocket on defense, and she has the speed to take it all the way for two points in transition. It's tough to crack the lineup as a freshman at Rockford, but Quinn certainly has the talent to make an impact this season.

Isabella is one of the deadliest three-point threats in the 2029 class. Her long frame, skilled footwork, ability to score off the dribble, court vision, and balance give her a high ceiling as a guard prospect. She keeps her hands active on defense to cause deflections and works hard on the glass. Izzy will be a key contributor for a dangerous Cass City squad this season.
