Expert Analysis
Evan Bell | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Quinn helped Rockford JV to an undefeated season, and we have no doubts that she is going to have a special career for the Rams at the varsity level. She’s an athletic guard with length and a strong build. Quinn finishes well using either hand in traffic, can fill it up from beyond the arc, and causes headaches with her quickness on defense. She’ll be a breakout player on the circuit this spring.

Quinn has an outstanding day at the Freshman Showcase, and she looks like the next great prospect coming up through the Rockford program. Quinn has the length, strength, and quickness to play inside or on the perimeter. She’s an effective downhill scorer who finishes through contact, changes directions suddenly using various dribble combinations, and sees the floor. Quinn is a pick-pocket on defense, and she has the speed to take it all the way for two points in transition. It’s tough to crack the lineup as a freshman at Rockford, but Quinn certainly has the talent to make an impact this season.

Quinn’s athleticism, length, versatile skills, and high motor made her a can’t-miss prospect at the Freshman Showcase. She attacked gaps and drove hard to the basket all day, which resulted in free throws and layups. Quinn sealed her defender inside and used an excellent high-rip step through to cause a foul–converted the free throw. Quinn was a determined rebounder and picked up multiple boards on the offensive end. She swatted a shot away with textbook defensive positioning and used a quick crossover to score a floater off two feet. Quinn’s fast pace on offense created scoring opportunities and her aggressive defense gave opposing teams fits. Her two-way impact earned Top Performer honors at the Freshman Showcase.

Quinn made a strong impression at the Ferris Elite Camp with her length and instincts at the guard position. Defensively, she used her reach to disrupt passing lanes and create turnovers, making life difficult for opposing ball handlers. On the offensive end, she was constantly active without the ball, timing her cuts perfectly and putting herself in great spots to finish easy plays set up by her teammates. Her off-ball movement and defensive awareness stood out throughout the day.
