Janiah has the right combination of height, strength, and athleticism to be one of the top front-court prospects in this class. She imposed her will in the paint for Michigan Crossover on both ends of the court at the April Showers Classic. Janiah looks like the next great forward coming out of Belleville. She’s a prospect we’d love to see against top prospects at the Freshman Showcase.

Janiah was an imposing front-court prospect at the April Showers Classic. Her length and athleticism are tough to match up with. Janiah is a physical rebounder, finishes with touch around the basket, and protects the rim as an aggressive shot-blocker. She looks like one of the best post prospects in this class.

Janiah immediately stands out as a front-court prospect and the opposing team had no answer for her at the April Showers Classic on Saturday. She muscled her way to the doorstep, secured several offensive rebounds, and scored many putbacks in the paint. Janiah protected the paint with multiple blocked shots and closed out well on perimeter shooters. She already has the height and looks like a post who could be one of the best in this class.
