This Tioga team is absolutely loaded. Pat Alberts takes over as coach and has to be excited about the talent on this team. [player_tooltip player_id='1125290' first='Cheryl' last='Hayes'] is an absolute stud. She is a returning All-Region selection and will have a shot at making the All-State team this year. Fellow senior Ava Wallin is an All-District talent who scored over 12 points per game last year. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1252776' first='Kambree' last='Johnson'] is a 6'1 All-Region returner. She averaged a double-double last season as a sophomore and is poised for another terrific season. [player_tooltip player_id='1126139' first='Keslee' last='Keever'] is a top prospect in the 2030 class. She averaged 10.7 point per game and recorded 50 steals and 48 assists as an eighth grader. Theea Johnson is a 6' senior who was just under double figure scoring last season. To basically have four returning double figure scorers, two All-Region selections, three All-District selections, and a 2030 high level talent is a luxury that not many coaches get in their careers. Look for the Pirates to come out of Region 3.

Denver Deaver is hoping to follow up a historic 2024-2025 season with another great year. This squad will look different due to some key players graduating. The big reason the Bombers will be tough to beat is because they have All-State player [player_tooltip player_id='1136998' first='Addison' last='Neshem']. She is one of my favorite players in the state. Not only is she a prolific scorer, she can also defend, rebound, and pass. Her competitive nature and athletic ability make her a key recruit in the state. I think all NSIC schools should be all over her. Senior Shayne Simons was a key role player last year and will have an expanded role on this year's team. She averaged 6.4 points per game last year and could get to the double-figure number this season. [player_tooltip player_id='1149123' first='Ella' last='Brown'] is a talented 2028 and had some impressive moments as a freshman. I think she is a future All-Region talent. Elyssa Lindahl is the only other contributor off of last year's team. She will play a critical role in getting the Bombers back to the state in 2026.

The Honkers are hoping to continue their streak of state tournament appearances in 2025-2026. They have been to the last five and are hoping to get that number to six. Their team will have a new look with 5 players graduating off of last year's squad, but there are enough key returners and young prospects to keep them in the hunt. [player_tooltip player_id='415002' first='Taya' last='Aufforth'] is an All-Region talent and will have an opportunity to play at the next level if she so chooses. She is a powerful athlete with nice touch around the basket. She is a steady rebounder and defender as well. [player_tooltip player_id='1248247' first='McKenna' last='Mau'] is another returning double-figure scorer. She is going to have to increase that number with the departure of University of Mary player Mashae Miller. Anna Peterson is a 5'9 senior guard with tremendous athleticism. She typically matches up with opposing team's best player. Rylee Hedberg, Charlotte Brekhus, Makaya Jensen, Kylie Aufforth, Kenna Aufforth and Mercede Miller are all prospects looking for a role on this team.

4 - Our Redeemer's

Our Redeemer's returns nearly its entire roster from last year's 11-12 team. This battle-tested group will be a tough team in Region 3 with the experience they bring back. Leading the way is senior [player_tooltip player_id='1166053' first='Kadyn' last='Braun']. She is an All-Region returning guard who averaged over 15 points per game last season. She is a talented scorer, sees the floor well, and can knock down the three. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1220773' first='Lauren' last='Strom'] averaged a double-double last season as a sophomore. I think she makes the All-Region team this season. The Knights have a nice balance of guard play, posts, length, speed, and athleticism. They are hoping to dominate teams defensively and use those defensive stops to run in transition. [player_tooltip player_id='1251622' first='Hannah' last='Conway'], [player_tooltip player_id='1251623' first='Noel' last='Pankratz'], and Auna Peterson are all key role players poised for a nice season. Our Redeemer's has all of the pieces to compete for a Region 3 title.
