Here are a few players who have just been leveling up this December and are showing that they are the ones from their team to stop.

Dixie has been on a roll this month, and the engine behind that surge is Izzy. She's been setting the tone on both ends, pouring in as many as 29 points in a night and wreaking havoc defensively with games of nine steals. Her scoring punch, pace, and feel for the game drive everything Dixie does, and her leadership and court IQ are turning this into a program that teams will have to circle on the schedule for years to come.

Bradey has come out of the gate strong for Weber and hasn't slowed down in December. She's flirting with a double-double most nights, often pulling down more rebounds than points, and against bigger programs like Fremont, she proved she can be a true possession-changer. For a freshman to impact games on the glass, defend bigger players, and still find ways to score speaks volumes about her motor and maturity. Weber will lean on her early, and if this trajectory holds, she'll be a cornerstone piece for the program moving forward.

If there is a player who has separated herself as a true Division I prospect ready to make an immediate impact at the next level, it's Tabitha. She leads the undefeated Vikings in scoring and consistently knocks down timely threes. She's the glue that holds the team together, with the versatility to slide into the post when needed or handle the ball and initiate offense from the perimeter. Her all-around impact and leadership put her firmly in the conversation as a top contender for 5A Player of the Year.

Whitehorse is fortunate to have a leader like Keiarra anchoring its lineup. Her athleticism far exceeds what you typically see at this classification, and once the high school season wraps up, she'll be testing herself with [program_tooltip program_id='903254' first='Utah' last='NLB'] against elite competition at her level. Right now, she leads the state in scoring at over 25 points per game, showcasing her ability to take over games from anywhere on the floor. That explosiveness separates her in 1A play, and with another year still ahead of her, Keiarra will continue to be the engine that drives Whitehorse's title hopes.

As a first-time player suiting up in a Timpanogos jersey, Mak has already matched in a single game what she put up over the entire season last year. Timpanogos has opened the year at 7–0, and Makayla has been one of the engines driving that start. Her confidence with the ball, willingness to attack, and ability to finish plays have given the Timberwolves another reliable option on both ends of the floor. Region play will put her growth to the test as she faces tough matchups against Provo and Mountain View.
