Holiday Hoopfest: Cedar Valley vs. Perry

Perry seemed to get comfortable first as they were ablee to get Cedar Valley to mishandle the ball a bit and Perry was able to capitalize. They hit a few midrange jumpers that also lead to some solid inside post passes. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While Perry jumped out to a 21-8 lead Cedar Valley wa sable to regroup and assert themselves defensively. They got into their trap but their man to man drfense was physical and it kind of made Perry get away from their offense. She was hitting from deep in the catch-and-shoot. Whiting showed that she could put the ball on the floor out in the perimeter. With a few of those attack moves and her shooting, she was keeping defenders off balance.
