Holiday Hoops: Mid-State Talent Heating Up

Plenty of you are getting ready for the holiday season, but there are some who have taken to the hardwood to get some last-minute ballgame stuffers in. If you have been blessed to take a game or two thus far this season, you will be delighted to see plenty of talent that competes on these Tennessee hardwoods. Doesn't matter if she is playing with the ball in her hands or coming off screens, she is just an impact player. Strong-willed, a kid who has battled adversity through her injuries, she's back stronger than ever and has helped uplift this CPA ballclub. This young lady is shifty, a gamer, someone who just hoops. A multi-level scoring threat who is always going to rise to the occasion. She has that Mamba-like mentality, and when she is locked in, this kid is hard to rattle. She has been scoring rampage as of late (32 points last game), leading the Lady Bears to victory. If you try to slow that aspect of her game down, she will just reach into her back and drop dimes on you, which is something she loves to do anyway. A hard-working individual who scored 20 points in her team's victory over Webb. She may not get a lot of pub, but this kid does the little things right, which helps her team stack wins. From rebounding to playing solid defensively, add in her ability to score from multiple spots on the floor, and you have a solid ballpalyer which she is. Tough, scrappy, she is going to do whatever it takes to contribute to her team's success. Her team feeds off her energy, and she is one you need to keep your eyes on down the stretch. The team's captain has been filling it up, getting to the rim with ease, and knocking down 3-pointers. She has also been threading the needle, making timely assists against some good competition her squad has been facing in Gatlinburg. She's a tough competitor who is one of the top kids in her district. Look for her to have the purple and black in a favorable position come February.
