Throughout the season, numerous players have made an impact for their teams, and we'll look at a few of them in the junior and sophomore classes, respectively. As the year progresses, we'll continue to highlight players who are under the radar, allowing you to learn about new players around the state as the 2025-26 season unfolds.

[player_tooltip player_id='751270' first='Madelynn' last='Medema']

The Randolph guard has been impressive to open the season for the Rockets. Medema has been a reliable offensive threat who can handle the ball and create space for herself or others to score. Medema has also been a hard-nosed player, which shows in her effort on the boards to help jumpstart her team's transition offense. However, she will also stick her nose in on the offensive end and help generate extra possessions for her team. There is a lot to like in what she brings to the court.

Lexi Tarman

Yet another Tarman is making an impact at Turtle Lake. Lexi Tarman is a skilled guard who can knock down shots from the mid-range area and space the floor to knock down shots from beyond the three-point line. Tarman is also a player who can use her anticipation to make plays on the defensive side of the floor and can make quick reads to help her team score in transition. I thought she's been an impressive player for the Turtles.

CeCe Mills

The Northwoods native has been an excellent perimeter shooter for Florence this season and has been a player who can punish teams that want to play against zone defenses. Mills is a confident player who doesn't hesitate to shoot when she has space to let it fly on the perimeter. She is also a solid rebounding guard who can find her way to missed shots and help her team clear their defensive lines. It also helps get back into their offensive groove.

[player_tooltip player_id='1226720' first='Grace' last='Warborg']

The Jefferson guard is a talented defender who has the instincts to make plays on the ball from anywhere on the court. Warborg reads the game at a high level and can make an opposing guard's life miserable if they don't take care of the ball to the level required against a defender like Warborg. She may not be playing for a program that appears like a second-weekend team at the moment, but she is a player to watch in the 2027 class for teams looking for a defensive guard.
