To wrap up the week, I'd like to discuss some players who have had impressive starts to their seasons that I haven't highlighted since the season began about three weeks ago. As I've said plenty of times already, numerous players are having solid seasons, and today, we're discussing some names I haven't discussed yet.

Eden Mueller

The Lake Country Lutheran guard impressed me when I saw her play toward the end of her first high school season, and when I saw her at the first UAA event in Ohio. Mueller is an athletic guard who brings a physical element to any backcourt she is a part of. Mueller can handle the ball and put pressure on opposing defenses, using her speed to make defenses respect her, or hurt teams by using her shot to space the floor and knock down perimeter jumpers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1174747' first='Milan' last='Fullerton']

The Lake Mills wing is a player who can space the floor and knock down three-pointers when her defender helps off her. Fullerton has solid footwork and can keep her feet behind the line, forcing defenders to scramble when she catches the ball with space beyond the arc. I also like that she can play off two feet when she's around the basket and can finish with either hand comfortably.

Kordelia Geissler

The Hayward sophomore is a rangey wing with the physical tools to impact a game on both ends of the court. She's a rangey kid who can use her length to make plays on the ball defensively, and is skilled enough to handle the ball and push the ball up the floor in transition. The Hurricanes also trust her to knock down open looks from the perimeter, and will run sets for her to get clean looks from behind the three-point line at times, which shows the trust her coaches have in her. Geissler is another player from the Northwest part of the state, having a solid start to their season.

[player_tooltip player_id='892127' first='Allison' last='Hertz']

Hertz played a role with Homestead last season, alongside a plethora of seniors who all could play at the next level, and most are still this season. However, Hertz has done an excellent job for the Highlanders in her junior campaign. She has shot the ball well and been a reliable source of offense for a team that has new faces all over the floor. Her ability to shoot the ball will be something that every North Shore team will be aware of, because she can put up points in bunches.
