[player_tooltip player_id='541418' first='Taryn' last='Thompson'] was one of the the most fluid and competitive guards I saw on day one. The senior guard plays with creativity and confidence, showing the ability to create scoring opportunities within the flow of the offense and getting down hill in one on one matchups. She knocked down a corner three, attacked space when defenders overplayed, and demonstrated good feel for attacking the rim with an understanding of angles, timing, and how to get to her spots. With all of these skills, Thompson was definitely a playmaker who got the ball to an host of quality teammates who can all ball in their own rights. Thompson definitely stood out as one of the top point guards in the building. Her defense was also top notch and she got several steals and multiple deflections with her speed and basket ball IQ on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='468627' first='Jasleen' last='Green'] scored 16 quiet points, including 3 three pointers from downtown Tampa. Green is always among the best in the building and it was no different at the Tampa Bay Christmas Invitational. Green impacted the game in multiple ways, six rebounds, multiple steals and assists. Green also showed versatility and spent a lot of time at the two position with Valle running the point.

[player_tooltip player_id='892014' first='Kelsey' last='Sharpe'] (2026). Sharpe continues to show poise and confidence as a lead guard. She is a blur on the court and handles pressure well, makes smart decisions with the ball, and stays composed in scoring situations. Sharpe is a steady presence who understands pace and control. Shaw also knows scoring. Sharpe drained several jumpers including a few from behind the arc. She was able her best when attacking the rim and scoring with creative finishes in transitions.

[player_tooltip player_id='514522' first='Morgan' last='Cremen'] impacted the game with activity and toughness. She rebounded and pushed tempo, knocked down perimeter shots, and made hustle plays that shifted momentum. Her willingness to dive on the floor and compete stood out. Cremen had a monster game in which she scored 33 points and posted 8 rebounds and 5 steals. Cremen has always posted the steals, but her offensive game has evolved- some out of necessity, but more from hard work in the off season. Her three ball is fluid and looks good from the moment in leaves her hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='514577' first='Makiyah' last='McHenry'] (Cover Photo)stood out with her court presence, speed, athleticism, and her ability to put the ball in the bucket in multiple ways. On defense, Henry pressures the ball well and gets steals with her quick hands and anticipation. McHenry is a serious stock riser and just seeing her live makes all the difference. She will definitely move into a ranking category where a talent like her belongs

[player_tooltip player_id='1581935' first='Sofia' last='Rathburn'] showcased a high basketball IQ and high production on the ball court. Her instincts stood out- a tipped pass off the rebound, a drive and kick to her shooters for several three pointers, and a nice transition pass on the break after a steal. Rathburn stood out for the big plays, but the little things stood out as well. The senior guard can also put the ball in the basket. Her outside shot is smooth and fluid and looks good every time she shoots the ball.
